I’d be disappointed if 40 of our guys are doing orichalcum parkour in the jumping puzzle with any kind of regularity unless theres a serious lull in fighting. I haven’t gone into Eternal for weeks though.

The fights with Mag on NSP BL were fun last night. That ridiculousness that was a DB seige was the most fun I’ve had this week. We had the wall down for 4-5 hours but couldn’t breach the choke point of 10+ seige and 3 trebs behind it taking out any seige we tried. Good fun!

Just want to say thanks to the DH zerg that was trying to cap camp Godslore in DH BL right now. We 5 that stood on that little tower behind had fun watching you guys trying to get us.

Yah Darkhavens superior tactics has been hilarious the last few days i loved those 2 (Hell) guys who keept wasting supply of a keep for 4 hours straight and now they even get darkhaven escorts to give theyr guildies the orb totally superior tactics..

I have Queues in EB almost all day long….

You do know that there are Pop limits per map and each world holds a static 33.3%, so although one world may have queues, other worlds may not.

And yes, people come and go but most stay. They have 20-40 people in there all day long from the top, to the arena and to the darkroom. Some have even sat camping the top of the well just before the Indiana Jones Trap.

As for ruffling feathers? lol… I am glad they are in there and not taking camps and towers.

As long as they are there, they are not helping their world. And that translates to a win in my pocket.

you realize that i’m not on darkhaven right, so no, there’s not been a queue since day 1. i frequent the jumping puzzle, and i can tell you that i never see more than 10 people on dome at any given time. it may feel like theres 20-40, but thats just because its an easily defensible position, and the people trying to get up mostly are bad and unorganized.

Considering we had a large majority of EB two nights ago, I don’t think we spend that much time at the jumping puzzle. Nobody on our Mumble is that bored, anyway.

Jumping puzzle strategy made me laugh. Pack 20-40 Maguuma into the puzzle while your realm goes down burning… Good strategy.

As for DH players… yes… the majority of the WvW players have taken a holiday from WvW last night and before to enjoy the Seasonal Event currently going on. This Match has been effortless since Sunday. DH players were confident that Maguuma would not catch up and they did not. And now it is impossible to lose; so people are spending a better time doing the seasonal event.

As for Wads, I am aware you are Maguuma. I know you spend all your time in the jump puzzle. I am curious though, how do you manage to target stealthed players, and how you can target people through walls/terrain in which you have no possible Line of Sight. How, as a mesmer, you seem to move at the speed of a thief when you have no speed buff. And I could have sworn I saw you, while I had Mystic Fountain Stealth, teleporting to an upper level of the puzzle without a portal. I was sure to stay a fair distance from you however, because I know you can see stealthed player so I was at the edge of clipping when I saw this super jump of yours.

I must say I’m impressed by tonight’s portal bombs from Darkhaven side. Some of them was really well done.

Wow no mention of Maguuma holing up in EH for 3 hours slaughtering wave after wave of NSP in the lords room. It was a good time, even if it was incredibly frustrating.

Nightcapping is a legitimate strategy just like portal bombing so no complaint here. Myself, I have come to term with nightcapping and no longer care if we lose to it and it doesn’t ruin my WvW experience.

Yeah, as long as all 3 servers have decent map population during the evening/night good fun can still be had.

Nice to see DH learning tactics like stacking. Make sure you don’t stack in a chokepoint underneath a bunch of arrow carts though.

Yeah, I was only pointing out that the claims that Darkhaven goes unopposed at night are simply untrue. In fact, NSP at one point lead during the night. I agree night capping is a perfectly valid tactic, so is morning capping when one server is all at work or asleep. That’s why I applaud Maguuma and NSP for not giving in, and taking it to us and beating us at our own game at a time when you’re weakest. It’s impressive, and it reflects well on both of your servers.

Well it’s a pretty broad generalization when you make the last two day represent the whole matchup. The days that mattered were the first few days and DH nightcapped really well and that’s how you guys bounced way out in the lead.

I didn’t generalize in the slightest. My post was merely trying to show that you guys don’t have a non-existent night force. I’ve seen zergs from both sides. A lot of excuses in previous threads came from “well x server has no night guys so it’s player versus door for Dh”. This night has clearly proven that 100% false. We may have outnumbered you, in fact we most certainly did. However, that does not mean that we didn’t have to fight you guys in substantial numbers at times. It wasn’t usually player versus door, and that was the only point I was making.

You’ll be facing Crystal Desert and Yak’s Bend, so neither of us. It sucks that your server quits WvWing just because you’re in the lead. Score has nothing to do with having fun slaughtering people.

Nightcapping isn’t a tactic because it’s not a planned move; your entire server doesn’t decide to roll their sleep schedule back 6 hours. You just happen to have people allocated in that time zone. I think the word you want to use to define nightcapping is “happenstance”.

Sometimes when we’re outnumbered , I go to LA to say we need more …suddenly there’s a que to get back into wvw lol – it’s a fun server and we are simply impulsive.

Had some pretty epic battles this week for sure.
Lucky for me when our low time kicked in I was leaving for work.

We’ve also wiped out a few of your uncoordinated zergs by stacking. Darkhaven is learning, we are doing stacking now. I don’t know why you’re speaking as if it’s a completely foreign tactic that we’ve never seen used or used before. We’ve been doing it for days at this point, have you fought us recently? Sometimes we don’t do it, but it’s becoming common place. Again, you have to define tactics.

Also no, we do plan to night cap. We specifically have people nap during the day to play at night—this goes back to when we originally started night capping. It’s not as prevalent now, because as soon as word of our night capping spread, we got a legit overseas base. However, it still exists. Though you’re partially right. Even so, that’s merely semantics and really is unimportant.

I’m not being hyper literal. You guys did have substantial forces in certain BL. No, you most certainly could not come anywhere near to matching us in all 4 BL, but Maguuma could match us in 1-2 and so could NSP. Yet for some reason, all of our victories were PvD, when you guys would have zergs going and we’d beat you with equal numbered (maybe higher) zergs.

That’s the thing, it’s concentration. If you’re matching us equally in just 1 or 2 zones, and NSP is doing the same, then at best we’re only PvDing in 1 BL. And that’s another thing, your comment suggests (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) you’re not there for this night capping, yet you claim it’s PvD (or are at least defending your fellows claiming it’s PvD). I am there, I have seen massive organized Maguuma forces. I know it’s very hard to accept, but sometimes we beat you without outnumbering you 3-1. Most of the time we win at night due to numbers, true, but you guys put up competent resistance.

The only point I’m trying to get across is that you guys have a nighttime presence. That has been proven. Does it match ours? No, but you guys can concentrate it into 1-2 zones which does match our presence in those zones.

We had bunch of hacking good fight. Hope the hack our next matchup with be as eventful. The hack with it, I just hope there’s less nightcapping at least so we can have a hack of a chance to move up in the hacking standing.

Agree to disagree, then. I don’t actually care about nightcapping and I will never ever believe that anyone can 100% all of the maps with even numbers.

I’ve been hearing that both servers have been decimated by transfers to Sea of Sorrows, but I hope the matchup is still fun. I think both servers are pretty day time players.

I said specifically we do outnumber you, it’s not even. I’m only saying that it’s not by as much as you think, if you come at night often, you’ll realize that you guys have a decent night time population. We simply have a dominating night time population. All I’m saying is that it’s not PvD.
