I was writing this as a reply to one thread but decided to post it on its own as it applies to a lot of threads.
I love WvWvW. Mass Pvp is the reason I play the game and it is delivering for the most part. It is Warhammer without the engine issues.

This forum however is full of whines, complaints and whinges.

If we are honest they arise because someone lost.

Before complaining please consider the following. You are not as good as you think you are. You lost to better play.

When I say you are not as good as you think you are, I am not merely referring to the order you press buttons to activate skills. I am also considering general awareness and an understanding of WvWvW.

WvWvW is mass pvp. It is not a larger sPvP map. It invites disparities in fights and caters to them.

It is large scale. It invites you to get organised.

The vast majority of complaints on this forum would not exist if you were well organised.

Coordination will never be nerfed by arenanet so start exploiting it now.

By organised I mean a number of things:

Join a guild or start one.
Have your guild form alliances.
Communicate with others in public chat.

Be aware of strategy: Look at the maps, see where your needed. Prioritise the orbs and target your most significant enemy. If you 2nd or third that enemy is the top server.

Be aware of tactics: Coordinate you group movement, synergise your skills. A 4 to 1 fight is winnable especially if your in a defensive position. If your not, move.

If you going to post a nerf post or a whine consider this in an honest fashion.

Could you have played better.
Could you have been organised.
Are the same skills that wiped you available to your side.

It also may be the case that mass pvp is not for you. If you don’t want to do this and want to role a cookie cutter glass cannon spec and solo, that’s great I hope your on a server we face, you will not even load on screen before you are a loot bag.

If he’s from desolation, why do we have the VZ vs FSP vs DES discussion then. When DES has people all over the night, then VZ wasn’t capping that much

Snort plays on Gunnar’s Hold. Our guilds are in an alliance and regularly team up in WvW. We used to play on Desolation during the BWE events, but moved to Gunnar’s Hold when the game went retail, because we feared that due to Desolation’s overcrowdedness, not everyone from our guilds would be able to join.

The Unnamed guys know what they’re doing and Snort is pretty much right on the ball in this thread. If you are not organized, you’re just cannonfodder.

I play on Gunnar Hold and we lose out at night to Blacktide.

Organise or die.
