Finally got to tier one… now we have to go through the whole process again. Yay..! Next 5 weeks will be so boring

Am I the only one that sees the HUGE note at the top of the rankings screen?

Shaojack’s point is valid, but bear in mind.

The bad matchups aren’t due to the ratings adjustment algorithm.. The problem stems from all servers being rated at 1500. Because of this the algorithm cannot differentiate between say, JQ beating SOR by 50k points and Ferguson’s Crossing beating ET by 50k points. It would view those wins as equivalent under any algorithm based on the 1500 rating and assign the next matchup as JQ vs. ET. (this is just a fantasy example)

Unless they adjust the ratings or tiers themselves, we WILL have bad matchups and wacky tiers next week.

Or they could maybe add weighting to each tier for the algorithm to take into account, but I doubt that is the case.

it’s great to see SoR again. With the [old] system it took them too long to get into T1.

Which is why they needed to do this reset – let all the server transfers shake themselves out. The cream will rise to the top again. In the meantime it is a chance to play against other servers, especially for JQ who has never been out of T1 as far as i know and never had a chance to play against TC, SoR, FA or any of the others.

Loving T1 So Far Awesome Fights in EB…. FoE and PRX Top Notch fights best in… well ever I think. Hell that last fight with PRX was so intense I crashed. I dont know if I can take not having these fights after the reset.

Great fight this week but next one. Wow haha, next week is going to be one FUBAR match-ups.

Just think… if we have a close one all week and wind up with only a hundred or two points separating first and last… we can do it again next week! In tier 5…

It reset 4PM, its now 11:20PM now and im still in que. I’ve resetted my que 3 times.
I was spamming since it reset and was already in que from the start. Only about a third of SOR was able to get into a borderland.

SoS’s lead probably won’t last long. I’m just waiting to see when the JQueue freight train comes rollin’ in.

Update! We really havent lost too many zerg v zerg battles, our skills are showing to be alright so far. Looking forward to more!

When I went into HotM from Lions Arch and saw that..my hope waned…Seems every GL of WvW only guilds was stuck there LOL. Indo, Purp, Myself and then 3 of our commanding officers. I was like “Ahhh noooooo”

Wait, what did I miss? Is ICOA Badge stacking again?!

This is what gw2 WvW tiers should be. Close ppt’s and constant back and forth pressure from each other on all three sides. We may get tossed around the ladder but I am sure all three servers will see each other again.

SoS good to see you pick yourself off the mat from last week back to full force.

SoR you guys knew you could hang here and have proven it.

All three servers have queues over the weekend it seems. The queus vs map population may be broken as well.

Keep sending in the screen shots guys, because that queue is taking so long I many never get in!
