So far I enjoyed our matchup, even if we are on third. No more invisiculling portals, omnomberry ghosts and other steroids, golems in a box and synchronised AoE. People actually wander the map alone or in group of 2-3 making for fun encounters.
The points though….they are a mess. No matter what your points are, you could end up fighting one of those annoying juggernauts next week. Sigh – hope this madness ends soon .

The “next matchup” on http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA doesn’t really mean much. The top of the page states this: “At the end of this matchup, all ratings will be reseted (set to 1,500). ANet has not yet announced the math so the site will use the old formula and the ‘next matchup table’ may be innacurate.”
Regardless, the matchups should be interesting. And if we do get SF my coworker will hate me for a week, especially since I couldn’t get her to transfer to Yaks. lol

Yep… going to work on completion for my 80’s… mid February or March I’ll transfer. SBI needs more than a little ‘training’… re-education might work… as if you can make folks change their habits to date. SBI is done for.
Know only ‘havoc’ style tactics. Very few know otherwise…and they’d be happier elsewhere than try to change the majority. I wish them luck.

Wow, thanks to the overnight crew for showing the NA CDers how it’s done. We’ve done alright since reset but we’ve never had points like that!
Also, I’ve learned that the NW tower on SBI BL is like their beehive… tried twice last night to take that tower with 15-20 people… portal bombed twice in a row. After the 2nd time we tried the 25+ bees were so upset they took their Bay back, hahaha. I was disappointed that after I took my group out of that map so the SBI zerg could take their Hills keep away from YB, they instead just took back the western side of the map and left it that way for a couple hours.

Ahaha, in an epic manner. There were so many enemies in that situation. We got overrun, because we killed the enemy commander. I think he called his backup. >.<
Just wanted to pop in here and say, i have nearly been in wvw since reset friday (very little sleep) and CD you guys rock, the fights we had with you on sbi bl at reset were fun and challenging. On saturday afternoon and night when you guys started pouring into ybbl i was part of the resistance you met, and you guys threw alot at us, was a heck of a challenge at bluelake. For those that were there i was the kamikaze fiery death spewing ninjaneer usually at the front of our push, or in way over my head over extending into your group.
I have enjoyed fighting you guys all weekend, sadly work takes me out of town for the week so i wont be able to enjoy our matchup.
Good luck to CD and SBI this week, you guys are great. And to my fellow Yaks, its been a good weekend for us and you guys did a fantastic job on other borderlands and our own. Keep up the good fight.
Defending Bay against YB and SBI. >.< It was like, >3< there’s so many of them in CD BL.
Our players were scattered, we know that our items aren’t good, and that our team work isn’t perfect, but we have heart. We kept fighting and pushing and resurrecting and killing.
And eventually we were able to push the enemies outside.
Man, YB and SBI are strong. >.<
But there is one area which I really find game breaking. That cave like invulnerability spot behind the south west supply camp. >.> Haha. >3<
The weekend was a blast Yaks hv shown its prowess, especially defense where we took HOURS to retake Bay in CD BL. Props to SBI last night (GMT+8), where they blazed through EB at lightning speed.
The upcoming weekend will be more dependent on NA coverage, as most of us at Asian timeslot will be celebrating Chinese New Year. Keep fighting the good fight everyone!
The defense of the crystal desert eb keep was epic. We were surrounded by Yaks and SBI who were racing to see who can wipe us off the face of EB first. We were literally hanging by the skin of our neck. Thanks to yaks and sbi who pushed us hard! Our commanders have to make difficult decisions during this fight. Kudos to our commanders who made the right strategic calls, though I think we can do better. Keep up the good fight CD!

Weird animation. – Invisibility/Rampage/Burning = Transforming into the Golden Lord of the Crimson Flames. MWahah. Note though, I do not understand why some people name their guilds w/o class. No offense to Guild Hate. :/
CD players are rallying when they can. Learning and getting better. We may not have the strongest players nor the smartest players or even the wealthiest, but we are having fun. haha
I am disappointed a bit to be honest… where’s all the forum drama, the trolling, the “omg you win by numbers” stuff?
Oh wait, is it because we are actually having FUN inside the WvWvW, instead of sniping at each other at the forums? I think it is!!! Good stuff, this one…
Anyways, I believe SBI and CD have good SEA coverage, with CD stronger of the two. YB have better NA coverage. Think we CD can flip the scores on it’s head though, but need a lot of work.

This is how wvwvw forums should be all the time. Short and sweet. Short because we are all having fun in game, and sweet because there’s no need for servers to troll or flame or blame others.
I’m having a lot of fun this week. CD are very formidable, especially during ocean prime time! Many talented players on CD.
SBI has a lot of talent too, and some of their tactics are very smart! I’m learning a lot from SBI.
Overall this week so far has been awesome, whether Yaks Bend wins or loses, I don’t care, this has been the best week of wvwvw in over a month! Keep the fun going.
p.s me and some friends did a golem rush on SBI with only four of us total, we were soooooo close!!! But great defence by SBI to come wipe us in the Lords room, we though we were gonna take the Hills with just us 4. But SBI defence was too strong for us. Next time we may get it though

Most of the trolls have left the 3 servers. Trolls normally can’t handles losses, which is why they troll in the first place. So most of them have left for “better” server because they think they are too good for “dead” servers like us. Those who stayed ate generally more matured players who understands that you can’t win all the time in life, and there is always something to be learnt and improve.
My guild unoffiially calling this tier the blue-black tier. Being smack blue black down the tiers and faced rolled by upcoming servers.
If anybody likes some forum drama, just visit the tier 3 thread. We have the king of forum server magooomma and drama queen kaineng. Too bad FJ moved up a tier or we will have the holy trinity of forum trolling each other out. Right now, t3 thread even have two separate threads, after being locked out of the first one, just to show how drama they are. They are pretty entertaining to watch!
I like our t4 thread as it is. Respectful and encouraging. Might be a tad boring but I think we are all too bruised and bloodied from the paid transfer saga that a bit of peace and harmony is actually pretty welcoming! And yes! We are actually having fun after being sprawl camped for weeks! Keep the trolls away!

When I witness valiant defence, players not giving up against superior force, or a display of just pure skill I think the defeated opponent(s) deserve a sign of respect.
Sadly ANet stop me from conversing with the enemy on such matters so a bow is all I have.

Gotta add to the love here. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the back and forth battles between all three servers this week. This is so much more enjoyable than being on the receiving end of a 300K+ point blowout. Everyone should be able to hold their heads high at the end of the this week.

Had alot of fun fighting CD and SBI last night even though there was a grand total of 3 Yak’s in EB last night.Diffently going to have a grudge match against that CD GC thief who ever you are:)
I appreciate the CD or YB necromancer letting me get the skill challenge at the spider queen skill point this last weekend. I waved, got attacked, sat down and got beat on for a bit, but the necro disengaged before I died, and I was able to heal up and start the skill challenge in peace. One vista later, and I had map completion for my engineer on that map. Then I went and helped SBI with building up defense at Hills, and got to shoot a cannon at some folks that were flinging rocks at us with a cat. Fun times! I’m still a failmes / failgineer, but I’m getting less “fail” each time I play.
