FA is a good T2 server and probably will stay there for long. After all their work we can’t deny they deserve their ranking.

We could really use another NA guild or 2, especially in the PST slot.

We have guilds/commanders who run in all timeslots so you would be able to find a guild, and have somebody to play with!

So we been slowly getting more and more players to fill gaps but still need few more in Europe and sea. Though all are welcome, come join in the fun!!

@Niim, we are here to stay. Currently beating TC by about 10k points, and ahead of them in rating. We would have to lose 10+ guilds to go anywhere but up. And as most people know the only big guild that ever left FA went down the sewer and is now dead with like 40 members on SoS :P

I feel like we are doing better this week than last week. Partly because we made some mistakes during last week. Have a different game plan this time and it seems to be working out for us so far. To be completely honest we were looking for fights way too much. TC has mastered the art of maxing the ppt and we were punished for it. Fighting RISE, CO, and WM is just so hard to pass up though. So much fun fighting these guilds when we show up to whack on their doors.

We could still use some SEA coverage. Our NA and Oceanic is top notch, ask any of our opponents past or present.

I would sleep so much better if FA’s small but dedicated SEA population had some backup to protect our nightly NA and oceanic gains!

Seems like everyday I’m hearing of new WvW focused people coming to our server. We’ve got a great WvW community that really works together to make our foes go splat. Our guilds are organized, willing to help, and very competitive, but most importantly, we know how to have fun (while drenched in our opponents’ blood).

That is hardly an accomplishment!

But the moderator has a point having our posts with more substance will not only abide with forum rules but also encourage possible transfers.

FA is a great place to transfer to, we have a great community that are eager to help any and all interested candidates to the extent our possibilities.

The history of Fort Aspenwood is filled with stories of endurance and perseverance, never giving up in any situation in any given time. FA endured 11 weeks on Tier 3 WvW with a severely undermanned NA population, servers came and went, but FA endured holding tight to Tier 3 with all its might, due to this we earned the respect of foreign guilds who decided to transfer. Today we are a Tier 2 server on the rise, constantly learning and moving upward, with strong NA and Oceanic presence and one of the most organized militia, Fort Aspenwood is in dire need of EU/SAE citizens to strengthen our positions on the board.

I encourage anyone who is interested in transferring to our servers to take a look at our forums so you can see first hand how the Fort Aspenwood community is one of the best on the game.

As for useful information.

We have had a steady growth during our SEA time slot, we certainly need more though. DPS/HERO are our 2 major SEA guilds right now, they are growing and gettinb better. They could use your help.

The NA side of things have also been improving with the addition of ZN/HL/AoN

Oceanics, well, they are what they are. Strong as ever. Hard to find many Oceanic guilds better than the ones we have. They will set you SEA/EU guilds up for a LOT of fun.

FA is filled with PvP oriented guilds. We are killers. If that is what you like, join us.

This week, we held a solid 2nd place spot in Tier 2. I joined FA and [HOPE] right around the time many of our fellow IoJ brethren joined our push for the top. At the time I had no idea what kind of server Fort Aspenwood was, I just knew I wanted to WvW with the best of them.

Fortune favors the blind, because I came onto server full to the brim, with the most loyal, dedicated, hard-working, kitten machines a guy could ask for. This week, for the first week, we finally overcame our long standing rivals, Tarnished Coast, in the WvW standings.

This lead didn’t come free of charge, and we shed a lot of blood and many wipes to even get this far. From our opponents, we learned how to play like a top-tier in WvW server. TC has players that will fight tooth and nail to hold on to what they own, and the resilience to break the will of many groups out of sheer frustration. Kudos to them, who taught us to play the meta-game, we as a collective server have learned how to bunker down and hold our own after facing you.

Here’s to new fights and new strategies, for many more weeks to come!

Fort Aspenwood claimed a 2nd place finish inT2 this week.

We would love to have a little coverage on the SEA/EU side of things.

A EU guild would be a huge help to our server if any EU guilds on the lower tiers of the EU ladder would be interested in a NA tier with 24/7 round the clock fighting.

We would welcome any EU/SEA/Oceanic players/guilds.

After a hard fought second place finish we would really like some sea/euro guilds to join the fun to take first in tier 2. You won’t be alone as we have people in every time slot just thouse are needed most. Could also use more oceanic guilds though we usually hold the ppt lead in that time zone we could use more to give our dedicated guilds a bit of a break

It would be great to get some SEA coverage and Euro’s or anyone for that matter to bolster our numbers, awesome fights here in T2 with a wonderful FA community to join

So things have settled and its clear that FA is still LFM to join us for WvW fun. If you are interested in the greatness that is T2 fights without the T1 drama, then Fort Aspenwood is by far your best choice. We are the underdog, but our enemies still tremble when they face us on the battlefield.

Right now our recruitment priority is:
1. SEA/ EU
2. Oceanic
3. NA west coast
4. NA east coast

PM any one of the many people who post info in this thread about FA and they will be happy to answer your questions.

As said many times here, FA has a great community and a lot of VERY strong WvW guilds. We only need a bit more coverage, prioritized nicely by Aytrix in the reply above. Feel free to contact any of us if you have questions.

After a very good reset weekend (6k lead ATM) we are still looking to expand our numbers for the upcoming tough week ahead. Sea/ euro are still top priority, but all time zones are welcome. I don’t have a ton of gold to waste, cause I just bought commander, so plz tell me(I’m sure some other people will be interested, too):
How many people you have in TS/on the map in those hours?
How many commanders? Do you need more (I’m not that good, but enough to gather randoms)
How hard are the fights? Should I expect 20+ zerg fights, 10 ppl fights, or are you so little in numbers that you have to run from other zergs and sneak around while they are elsewhere? Or do others run from you for same reason?

SFR is currently #1, even though we are MED populated and our enemies are VERY HIGH. On weekend morning when I start most map is green (thank you night team), we have around 15 ppl in TS. We always have music bots on, so it’s not boring, but fun. Around noon some guilds start having raids and we have 40+ ppl TS. When we are attacked by big zerg on one map we call rapid response teams (guilds who have raids, hell even pugs come) from other maps to come help defend. At prime time 100-250 ppl in TS (some do pve). I mean server TS, some guilds use their own for primetime. We also have our website, and guild officers usually coordinate the raid times. Smaller or less organized guilds just use community TS to create private rooms.
This is the key to our success. We are taken down only by the numbers, not by skill =)

I’m in epx, don’t mind my sig thats my personal guild. ATM the guild is just over 90 people. We wvw pretty much every night and all are on ts. We generally have at least 20 with us plus pugs. We do guild missions wed night before wvw and general have lots of pve going in in off hours if that’s your thing. We are always looking to expand our numbers. If you want larger guilds we also have avtr and UA. If you need anymore info feel free to hit me up.

I don’t expect the same numbers at your night – I want to scale down from hard core-to casual player.

From my limited experience in that time frame I know that most days we hold our own (usually around +200 ppt). Obviously its one of our least populated timezones (just like most other servers. We have pretty even coverage with the other T2 servers.)

I’m pretty sure we have a couple guild groups running during that time but don’t think we have any straight European guilds atm. Most of our coverage during that time is made up of people from other timezones who happen to be on at that time.

Hopefully someone else with alittle more knowledge of that timezone will come on to answer your questions a little better.

FA has arguably the strongest Oceanic presence in T2, with multiple skilled guilds such as AVTR, uA, and PRO among others. We begin to fall during the NA morning hours when KN starts to come into their asian primetime. The only South East Asian (SEA) guilds that we have currently are DPS and Hero. Both of them do work and make a huge difference, but they are still outnumbered overall and have to focus a single map or end up spread too thin. I don’t believe we have any EU guilds currently on the roster. We do have a good sized force of militia during these hours, but lacking in commanders to lead them.

Moving to FA was a great move for me, I generally play SEA time and with just a few additions that time slot would be able to hold it’s own for us. So join us and try us out!

You want a server that is filled with killers this is the place.

Whale hunting is what we do best.

You want great fights every moment of the day fear not. TC won’t stop throwing bodies at you. Kn has a strong SEA/EU time slot so you are bound to be out numbered but not out gunned. Stock up on merchants before entering the field. You’ll need them

This kind of stuff occurs pretty much every minute of the day.
