Hello everyone,

I have over 8,000 badges of honor and it’s taking a lot of space…

What’s the future for Badges of Honor? should I have save them up? Ascended gear maybe? ANY new content for them? Details would be much appreciated.. or else I’ll start deleting my stacks of 250s.

I have a feeling both badges and karma will be used to purchase materials to make ascended gear. Like you, I would like some clarification.

I wish I could buy them off you. Would love a set of WvW armor :P

I wouldn’t delete them.

If you want to get rid of the badges, buy siege and pass the blueprints to your favourite commander.

You can get the stats from dungeons, and IIRC the skins aren’t anything special.

I actually like the look, and already have a soldiers set from AC. Thanks though.

How many kills do you have to own 8k in badges? Seriously curious because my badge drop rate is kittene.

(the below post has nothing more than bragging value, but can also be interpreted as a lack of long-term goal for hardcore WvWers)..

38K kills; I’ve had way more than 8K… I’ve just bought 2 sets of Invader’s armor already and frankly, the stats are not that good… this is my bank character btw.

You gotta save em man. At least until the February WvW update to see what Anet is going to do to improve rewards.

Last update they made a lot of stuff collectable like lodestones and mystic coins, the update also added the option store collectable for badges of honour and dungeon tokens/fractal relics, I assume (just a hunch) that you cannot store these yet because they are still determining the stacksizes since 250 of any of those is peanuts. Hope to see this next big update.

off topic, do u help ur server atall other than killing people, ur other achievements are really bad compared to ur kills..

You don’t get badges for escorting a Dolyak. =)

In all seriousness though, killing other players is probably what he enjoys. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree. Killing people can benefit your server a lot actually. Such as picking off players who are running to defend a tower/keep. The small stuff is what helps the most believe it or not!

I’d say killing people is the ultimate contribution to their effort. Dead players don’t do squat until they arrive back to whatever was interrupted when they died, perhaps finding nothing left to salvage or maybe even death again. To me, his stats are right on par with months of successful campaigning.

8000? Know when you’ve picked the wrong class, when you’ve been wvwvw’n since almost day one and have a grand total of 300 badges of Honor.

Hang onto them. You’ll just kick yourself if you throw em away only to have them be used for something in a future patch.
