We’re seeing a zerg rush on the forum, this week, to QQ incessantly about zergs and related things. I’m curious, and hoping that the forum warriors can answer this: Where is QQ pulling so many kittens from, to zerg us in the name of ending zergs?

He/She’s wondering why there’s a sudden rush of lots of different people complaining about zergs. I think it’s cyclical. You get one person who is annoyed by it, then you get a bunch of people who can come up with the answer to game balance after thinking about it for 15 whole minutes posting their various theories.

Somewhat like in WvW, when there’s a capture point to be taken for your team, and many of your teammates flock to that location to claim it?
I find it to be more similar to the number of armchair (including myself) commanders who suddenly appear when there is no longer an icon on the map. A keep is attacked and suddenly there are 5 different people with different solutions to the problem, splitting resources…

Even worse. I run builds specifically to work well when fighting with large numbers of people against large numbers of people, so that if I’m caught solo I’m dead meat.

Because there were mass transfers due to the paid transfer update. That is going to cause servers that already had zergs to have bigger zergs and servers that didn’t have zergs before to finally get them. That’s also why there will be a lot more threads complaining about WvW population limits and queues. When you only have a few jam-packed WvW servers and a lot of emplty ones, those annoyances become a lot more pronounced.
I for one love zergs. My second favorite candy is dots.
