SBI Borderlands:

Awesome wvw tonight! We had our backs the wall but pushed through to take a majority of the map! Highlight of the night was the 12 golem ninja on AH to take our orb back. Thanks to all the guilds that organized and worked together to cause mayhem all over SBI BL; Calm, Sent, DA, and of course SF.

Special thanks to Keg for financing most of the golems. :-)

Awesome battles – cheers to all three servers! Best time in WvW since Beta. This is what I was wanting from WvW all along – relatively even, great battles, three teams giving it their all. Let’s hope it continues – Fight On!

Some very epic battles so far. Definitely the most competitive tier 1 has been. Unfortunately Jade QQ has forgone any sort of integrity as a server because a few of their people decide to exploit orbs regularly.

sigh anyone seen the point around here? Seem to have missed it again…
Seriously, our Mod has even been kind enough to reinforce the principle of which we’re all well aware already. Tighten up please.

This is the best match up thus far easily! End of the week end already and the score has remained this tight throughout. Interested to see how the weekly grind effects a margin this tight. All three servers walking a fine line going into the work week where even the most die hard are forced to log out and go pay the bills…

1st – SB – 51,418
2nd – JQ – 50,159
3rd – IoJ – 49,455

… at about 9:00 server time.

Best match-up I’ve experienced so far.

Non-stop action, both zerg, raider, squad and duel-type combat all over.

Not to mention the pie is so equal most of the time.

Was having some great fun in SBI Borderlands tonight,
Going back and forth over the Champions Demense supply camp and the southern ruins making it a constant stale mate in the south for a good 4 hours.
Even though IoJ had the outmanned buff for most of the time, we still held our own against the horde of JQ’s forces!
Only to finally be out numbered after JQ had conquered the whole map and losing everything.
I hope it is going to be this intense all week! Easily the best match up for WvW

Thanks for the score updates. Will be interesting to see which server pulls it out and which we (BG) will be fighting next week. I hope IoJ loses because we need our payback and we want to fight them.

I have been thinking about this ever since you posted. I think it will probably still end up 1) JQ, 2) SBI & 3) IoJ. When I thought about it in the end the score is about 24/7 coverage right now and that is pretty much where these servers are. All it takes is having a gap of an hour in coverage to lose everything.

But, that said this has been one of the best weeks in recent memory harking back to the epic battles between JQ & SBI in the BWEs. I am so glad there are other servers willing to fight it out no matter what the scores or ranking are.

I play IoJ Oceanic time, so I am trapped in work now. So much fun this weekend, not sure my GF understood why she was all alone on watching TV while I had a blast on our own borderlands.

Some great biffo, learned alot from some of the T1 guys, the second we put pressure in one area, we take it in another. Watching War Machine (WM) tear you a new one is a great learning exercise, props to them, their relentlessness and their tactics. They took Garrison in about 15 mins (ninja 5 man on outer watergate, then 9 golums on inner, we were dead before we knew it). Once flipped they left and carried on crippling our supply.

Now we are out of the weekend, I hope the balance remains the same.

The way things are going, it’s entirely possible that BG gets stuck in Tier 2 for another week, but enters Tier 1 the week after that as the overall number 1 ranked server.

Destroyer I honestly don’t expect the bandwaggons to last the whole week on blackgate, so youll probably have some competition in t2 next week…i personally couldnt stay for another week on top of two weeks of spawn camping naked.

It’s killing me to not log back in right now lol, some nice excitement happening in SBI BL. Someone tell me that’s not the SBI ORB they got back cuz the last orb fight a few hours ago was pretty exciting.

This has been teh best wv3 by far since launch. I was sad watching all our (JQ) stuff being taken in EB a few hours ago…. the worst part was once you guys got in our main keep the invisible players bug decided to show it self…wish this company would fix it but hey at least we get some shadowking thing tomorrow. Keep up teh good fight everyone.

We’ve also been playing with outmanned buff for a bit here on Sbi, JQ just has a lot of players it seems. Still, on the third day in and were at less than a 1000 point differential between the three servers.

This is the way WvWvW is supposed to be. Epic fights!

SBI also had outmanned buff on SBI BL from morning to about pass afternoon. It’s really nothing compared to JQ 24/7 primetime.

I don’t think JQ even honestly knows what the outmanned buff looks like hahaha!

I thought Jade Quarry was supposed to be the qq server. All i see are ioj and sbi having a good cry.

Hey buddy, the reason it didn’t happen earlier was because IoJ had 30 guys and max siege there to fight them off. Supply camps don’t defend themselves, get out there and fight for the yaks and camps.

Wots the scores on the doors looking like now…anyone got an update ?

Ya one server or another will probably get some type of error message logging in, dont know how many times that happened the first few times SBI/JQ/HoD played

I juts logged off after defending the Hills in JQ BL 3 times in a row against simultaneous attacks from SBI on south gate and JQ on north gate… Quite a weird timing once, but what’s the chance of that happening 3 times in 4 hours ?

Also quite weird how SBI made it in once and only entered trough the south gate to kill our north gate siege equipment then got out without even trying against the inner hills keep that had 0 defensive siege…

To me that says a lot about the kind of players in the opposition.

Chance is actually kinda large. (especially in this kinda matchup)

Don’t worry, we do that too. Like, when we were attacking a JQ keep, we only noticed SBI was attacking them from the south too. IoJ pulled back a bit, with the intent of letting them fight it out, SBI destroy the gates, then take it after they try to push in.

It’s just a tactic, and a legit and decent one at that.

Loose first place in points 2 days in, and gotta bring out them hacks!
