Im sincerely sorry for whatever you may have experienced on the behalf of any FTF. As a 500 person guild, i find it hard to manage most to next to all the members activites and personal choices on the battlefield.

Alot of people in our guild aren’t always the squad type and desire for fair combat and the rules of respectful engagement. Like most big guilds we have a central core that is our dedicated members and our “Kill-Squad” and runs our trainings for members as well as our 3-6 man squads (sometimes 10 man depending on enemy player pop.) you might see. Aside from the siege zerg and members who have chosen not to advance in the guild and would rather stay for the karma trains (it might of been one of our karma trains).

If any members of FTF griefed you by sort of embarrassing act, please accept this as a apology on their behalf. But know that FTF is a fairly rowdy guild, we have members of all types and are an explicitly 18+ guild. We do not censor, within reason, our members from having some fun. It can be quite hard to control members from… expressing themselves haha. But we always have fun on the battlefield and we don’t do this as a form of spite against you. (If anything, a members of FTF taking the time to stop and notice you for something… i’d take it as a compliment lol)

But if your want an even fight against FTF, feel free to msg me, and we’ll set one up. We never turn down a fight

I do remember those particular days on near (what my guild calls the “crossroads”) crossroads. The tower was an iffy situation because i didnt want to engage you near the tower and i hesitated which caused you to take the leap. And the second encounter we had was just fail on my part with the coordination of our team.

But now that i know your so intently focused on capturing our efforts i’ll be sure to capture ours against you as well I’ll be sure to look out for the AD, Btsy, and NoQQ.

Not the game I play. If I have a good fight, I /bow and move on, if not, I will skip the first part. But I guess we are of different mindsets when it comes to courtesy in WvW, so I will just leave it at that. No feelings hurt, the players responsible obviously paid the price.

I can understand that. For example I don’t emote. If I want to say good fight I join your group and tell you. The point is people from all sides do it, thus it makes it a little annoying for someone to point out every time it happens.

I don’t focus on capturing anyone in particular. I pretty much record every fight. Obviously, fights with a bit more of a “guild” element in them are more interesting in general than fighting a gathering of PUGs. By interesting, I mean challenging.

The funny thing about this game is how fast a fight can be over one way or the other between the same group of people. There is a huge domino effect and the fights are typically determined in the first few seconds by who gets the best first hit.

BTW, my JI port was down otherwise I would have led the charge on the bridge. That is why we didn’t engage faster. We don’t want the advantage of fighting near a tower that is ours in an even number fight. You should have probably pulled all the way back into the ruins to get set up with a terrain advantage.

We haven’t really been trying to run a “serious” squad up until recently after our encounters with War Machine, and most recently you fine folk over in AD. More than anything I find that we just like the coordination, as these are things that come with time. At any rate it’s been a brutal, but informative learning experience.. Especially when we run into you guys…

We were going to but we just dont have the coordination down just yet. The number of players that are avid for competative group combat and are willing to learn are severely outnumbered by those who are just either casually playing or aren’t seeking that kinda of depth into a game.

Personally, i’ve always been impressed by your vids. Looking forward to more fights and hopefully to you staying on DR. I know FTF been on Ehmry since beta. Hate to see a good challenge end up as another fairweather zerger.

Great siege on hills just now! IoJ owns all three borderlands keeps! Wooooo! As commanding officer of the group that took it, I commend you DR for your repeated (failed) attacks on our trebs and the noble defense of hills!

IOJ seemed to be pretty mad at us tonight (great defense tonight guys) so we took our toys and went to EBay for a bit. EBay — Seriously we were just testing out your hot tubs in SW tower and SE tower. You didn’t have to come with all your pointies and try to kick us out!! If you guys just would have rammed SE tower instead of hitting the wall in the same place each time you probably would have made it in!! Many, many fun fights in EBay for the last couple hours!!! My guild and I and many that we have been running with since reset LOVE the fights this week! Look forward to the rest of this week and the next cause it looks like were stuck together!

The history of the 7 siege is my preferred reading when it come to discovering where I come from. Maybe I am a bit old fashioned. But I just can’t warp my head around this single entity of worship. The 7 are fair and Have been kind.

I find it a little funny that a guild of fishermen would worship a Sky Deity. So strange. Does it effect your harvest? This is how I am confused by the worship of a single God. How would the Sky God help with water people such as yourselves? I can’t see how he can help.

This is why I worship the 7. Each with different power over elements. Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Bacon, Carbohydrates, Beer, and killing. Sure there are 8, but they vote before they go out and one always stays home.

It looks to me all one needs to do is shovel a mound of dirt or build a false support system under the Sky Ram, and then it’s just a Mortal ram lifted off the ground. To become mortal so easily is not safe for a God. This is why the Shoe Lace God fell to Velcro and Slip On’s when they merged into a sect of knot free foot ware fastening.

WvWvW even exists between shoes.

Been loving the fights with both servers so far, taking back all of IOJ Borderlands and all of DR borderlands hopefully shows IOJ still has some fight in it!
The mass exodus is showing to make our server a lot better, glad to see all the loyal players stick it out and help fight back!
Our servers done amazing over the past couple of days, considering we’re usually outnumbered.

After Ho told everyone to stop chasing you I engaged you thinking, “Come on, it’s a ranger… He can’t be that good.” MAN WAS I MISTAKEN. It was a glorious 2 minute stalemate of blood and sweat and totally changed my views on the viability of rangers in WvW. I didn’t know bunker/CC rangers could be so annoyingly good! You’ve inspired me to go back to my ranger and try out the greatsword again.

Hopefully we’ll meet each other again out in the battlefield

My good sir, I assure you I am only trying to better understand your strange desire to worship a Sky God when you are composed of fishermen. To understand one’s belief’s is the gateway to accepting them.

Haha sweet! I love my ranger and my pet wolves. Greatsword is an underrated weapon for ranger. Generally other rangers complain about the low damage. There is so much more to that weapon though besides that. Glad I changed your mind about rangers!

Just wanted to say thanks to all the NoQQ, Btsy, RegA and AD that we’re able to show up to the Fight Club last night. Had an awesome time dueling you guys. Hopefully another one sometime soon.

We were just kind of going that direction and didn’t know there was a fight club thing going on. But it was pretty obvious that people were just hanging out and dueling (I guess not so obvious to the IoJ groups that periodically would run in the middle of things swinging lol)

Anyway, I had a great time and got a chance to talk with some of the guys from Ebay in party chat. I had not dueled before so it was a great learning experience for me. It was nice and casual and I got to watch and learn a bit about how different classes and players approach controlled 1 v 1.

Btw, anyone know what time the update will happen?

I believe it was all fairly impromptu. We’d wiped a group of what seemed to be mostly FTF at the southern camp twice then got wiped ourselves because we underestimated how fast the main body of their forces would come back and got caught in a bad position.

Next time we arrived near the southern camp there was RegA ele trying (emphasis on that word, ice bow in a duel with a condition mesmer? lolwut) to duel a FTF mesmer and the whole thing kinda grew from there.

And no, nobody knows exactly when the update will hit. Though usually they seem to land at around 5 pm Pacific.

It is evident in the last screenshot that if you did the ritual wrong, you will be heavily punished by the followers of the Great Sky Lord Flame Ram.

I find it a little funny that a guild of fishermen would worship a Sky Deity. So strange. Does it effect your harvest? This is how I am confused by the worship of a single God. How would the Sky God help with water people such as yourselves? I can’t see how he can help.

This is why I worship the 7. Each with different power over elements. Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Bacon, Carbohydrates, Beer, and killing. Sure there are 8, but they vote before they go out and one always stays home.

It looks to me all one needs to do is shovel a mound of dirt or build a false support system under the Sky Ram, and then it’s just a Mortal ram lifted off the ground. To become mortal so easily is not safe for a God. This is why the Shoe Lace God fell to Velcro and Slip On’s when they merged into a sect of knot free foot ware fastening.

You do realize though that everyone and everything under the sky since the beginning of time relied on the weather and decided what they will do according to the weather.
