Been on Maguuma since headstart, love the community, hate to see it go but with hours picking up at work I want to be able to hop in and have an instant to sub 15 min que.
I also do not want to be waiting a long time in que on weekends either.

As long as the server has a decent presence in wvwvw, and motivation even if they lose/are losing.
I have an 80 thief and mesmer in full exotics. I have some leadership experience if only small, but can translate a lot from Art of War to the game.
and please no server with guilds that troll/bot, mature RPers are fine.

If you don’t mind going EU:
RoS will be a nice server for you:
No Queues and VERY resilient people, we NEVER give up.
But you will be stuck in imbalanced matchups (I don’t see it changing in the next 2-3 weeks because there are like 3 DE server above us and there are certain DE guilds who keep transferring to the lowest ranked DE server :/)

NA player here and I never have to wait for Q’s or even during NA prime times has little to no Q times. Also if there is a Q can still easily get into other WvW maps while waiting for your choosen map to Q to pop

How is the wvwvw presence for yourserver? Are the Ques quick because the server is lacking in wvwvw motivation? Do the players in wvwvw give up easily or bot?

As someone in Tarnished Coast fighting Sea of Sorrows, I will tell you, their players don’t give up easily. Don’t know if I’ve seen any bots, but they have some skilled fighters there.

I thought TC moved up past Maguuma in the ladder last match-ups (or do I have my servers mixed up)? kinda strange a server higher in the ladder would have quicker que times. I thought the higher ones had longer que times naturally from people who transfer to winning servers

Last week we had 1 orb sometimes 2 at one point, but it isn’t as consistent as we’d like, obviously depends on 24 hr presence. But would you rather be in a top tiered server waiting on multi-hour Queues(as I’ve seen in posts on these forums) with little to no challenge because of total world domination, or be on a server like Sea of Sorrows which at times can be pretty challenging, but rewarding once taking over certain areas.

Me personally, I rather be an underdog server(DAoC Midgard anyone?? ) or constant battles, no fun at having total map control, what good is 150 stat orb bonus with no one to kill/challenge you?

We have been ranked top 10 since weekly rotations went live.

Eh. Not always. TC is the unofficial RP server and that shys some people away from us.

TC has a growing night time community though, some Oceanic folks have fought our primetime people while forgoing sleep and have decided to support our night efforts.

But yes, TC did move up in the ladder. I’ve noticed a lot of alliances and coordination appearing within our server in the borderlands and in eternal.

Sea of Sorrows has no ques really during NA primetime and our aussie army does work during the night.

lol…as an SoS NZ player, I can tell you we sometimes have queue times for the ‘night crew’, depends on which map tho mostly. SoS BL tends to be the busiest, with an occaisional 2 hour queue.

TC has been a nightmare to combat so far! Full respect to your night-crew, they have made it very difficult for us for the most part with SoS achieving dominance later on at ‘night’ which is prolly in the wee hours of night for them. Unfortunately we’ve run across a few of the usual idiots on all teams flyhacking/resource wasting. Until ANet decide to do something about that, I guess we all just have to put up with it and keep going.

Thanks guildwars. My guild pretty much sticks to the SoS Borderlands because we believe you guys are the biggest threat. Our commander was doing some work on that place for the last six hours-ish.

Darkhaven could use some NA peak time players to fill in opposing borderlands. EB and our own borderlands is usually a 5-15 minute queue during peak, but other borderlands are generally instant. At the start of last week, we decided to organize ourselves and are steadily improving.

Depends on what time you play. For NA hours. SoS has no queues and still puts up a fight despite being out numbered and out buffed.

Wait. You have a problem with Maguuma queue times? It’s going to be hard to find a server with lower queue times that is still reasonably competitive. If I queue up for the right map, I rarely ever go up above 10 minutes during prime time. If that’s too much, check out the post with the rankings and transfer to the one of the ones on the very bottom, because almost all the servers being suggested here have just as many or more players than we do.

What you should do is look for the highest ranked server in the lowest ranked group.

As of right now, that would be Ferguson’s Crossing, who are freely stomping Devona’s Rest and Kaineng both.

Any and all USA timezone players are most welcome on Sea of Sorrows.

Darkhaven has a medium sized population in terms of WvWvW. We have a good night presence aswell. During primetime NA hours, we rarely get a queue but if we do, the other 3 maps are not.
