Lately when I have been on WvW I have experienced major skill lag and some fps drop, mainly when i get close to a zerg.
It has only started to do this like 1 week ago and i thought it would just solve itself but it hasn’t please help. I have turned down graphics quality down to lowest and that still hasn’t helped. If you have any tips to reduce lag it will help a lot.

Is anyone else having the same problem? It only started to happen recently.

It’s definitely there and noticeable now. Definitely a pain when your skills won’t work when you want them. However I’m sure Devon et.al. are aware of it and working on it as we speak.

Pretty much everyone. The more people the worse it gets. On T1 you can be well away from a major fight and still not be able to get skills to go off right away, even when you don’t see anyone around. During a massive three way in Garrison I waypointed up and went to get supply at the north camp and still couldn’t get skills to fire.

I’m also having trouble connecting to the actual borderland, it sometimes just doesn’t load.

I’m in whiteside ridge, its not the most populated server, i’m not a tier 1 server so i don’t no why its happening

It happens when two or more massive groups clash. It effects the entire BG, even if you are not part of the massive group battle. It makes it very hard to capture an objective. Tried taking a garrison yesterday and we got in just fine, but when the home server came to thwart the efforts, major lag happened which we still could of taken it but with the lag, it is hard to kill another player which in turns keeps letting reinforcments in so we cannot capture the incentive. Was fun to begin with, but after awhile gets very annoying.

Yeah has happened to me as well. If there is a large battle going on somewhere it slows down the entire borderland. It has nothing to do with your computer or mine, since I have a pretty supped up rig. It has to do with the game’s servers where it cannot seem to handle properly that much information at one time and it priortizes certain things which causes the skill lag and such.

People have been complaining of this issue for weeks. And there is no serious update on the topic. In terms of customer relationship it is lame.

I am assuming Anet does not put enough resource to solve the issue. They are obvioulsy not taking this seriously. May be because it does not impact their bottom line- YET.
