Not necessarily. When we were still matched up against ET, RUIN/LotD zerged the lord room of Bay keep while we were defending and none of them rendered until they were in the lord room. So yeah, maybe disabling movement wouldn’t be a bad idea either if rendering is going to be the basis of removing a feature in the game.

We can’t handle the topic so we declare it is a legal tactic while saying it is Op and needs a nerf so no one needs to be banned becaus that is out of our reach to do.

Its not a game feature than can be fixed without rewriting the graphics/data engine behind the game.

Its a large amount of data that needs to be sent to every client at the same time. It’ll lag you into the 1990s if your computer tried to render a massive zerg or portal drop.

Yeah, we break zergs by suddenly jumping off the wall (into sight) and group sprinting to the back or past them. Chaos insues. You don’t need a mesmer portal. Infact a portal renders quickly and can draw attention to itself, all you need to do is aoe the hell out of it and you’ve just crushed your enemies.

Please remove fort exits in WvW because when a lot of people run through them the game does not load up all players….

Oh, please nerf warrior healing, all other classes effect 5 people only, this is an unfair advantage to over other classes.

Oh, close down the servers to prevent night capping because X server does not have X coverage…

Unfortuntly is not just mesmer teleport this issue also there with ally hide is pretty much the same thing happens

I fight invisible enemies all the time in WvW and 99% of the time there is no mesmer portal involved. Unless they walk up then stand around for 60 seconds and wait to render before attacking there will be invisible enemies. The solution if you can’t deal with it is to run with smaller groups. The mesmer portal has nothing to do with it.
