And judging by that buff that screnshot was taken in the weekend. I’ve got pics from today where both WSR and AS have the outmanned buff in EB.

A zerg is composed of over 9000 people! Here, they’re only 8999.

There is about 15 NOM in the 30 people in the screenshot.
Really a big “zerg” compared to the 50+ RoS standard zerg
but np RoS will cry about zerging when there is 30 people against them

Oh and you’re only seeing half their zerg.

To be clear : taking a screenshot of a specific moment on a specific map as a “proof” of zerging or outmanning means nothing because WvW is played during all day during all week and across all maps

about the second screenshot : it seems huge but its impossible to count packed people with all titles/wxp ranks

Anyway the first screenshot was more clear to count AS force but i was not here so i dont know how many RoS defenders were here and if the screenshot was only half of AS

Lastly, this “outmanned” qq or zerg crying is meaningless because everyone is zerging when they can (WSR this weekend, AS during prime, RoS during rest of day) and finally as RoS is the only server with a night presence they win the match up

You saying we got 50 man zerg STANDARD is contradicting you saying everyone has a zerg at different times because only at prime time can we actually get a 50 man zerg going, the rest of the day we get nowhere near that number and AS can get a bigger zerg going even when NOT in primetime.
And yes, since this matchup we got a night presence now, we got a guild that transfered to us, but you had plenty of transfers yourself.

PS the previous matchups we didn’t have a night presence and we were winning then too ^^

You have standard 50 man zerg running from EB to different borderlands since the start of this match up 2 weeks ago.
You don t have it 24h/24 but he still exists during weekends mainly and during some primes.
During some primes and rest of the day you have the 20-30 dedicated WvW players.
“standard” is perhaps not the term to be used but you run with 50 man zerg like AS or WSR this weekend.

Saying AS get ‘plenty of transfers’ is totally false and based on nothing. NOM joined weeks ago during T9. No other guilds tranfers on AS since. Some players tried WvW and some PvE guilds comes but thats all.

You have a night presence since weeks because u made like 5-10k more points than AS and WSR every night during week (except Saturday en sunday) (just look at points history on MOS). Now that a guild transferred for your nightcrew this match up is even more useless cause no server in T8/T9 can compete with your coverage.

Fire the Anti QQ Missiles!

At some point this thread became a whine-fest. If you believe we belong in a higher tier, and I hope you are right, then we will eventually tier up. We’re doing what we can, just like you are doing what you can.

Whether its tactics, coverage, or zerg… We’re all trying to utilize them as much as we can to earn more points, so let’s keep the fighting in game because arguing here wont accomplish anything.

We are 20/25 on WvW on the prime-time. Nothing more.
Talking about “zerg” or something else is it too much right ?
I am agree with RoS on something, you are not 80. But you have to admit something, none of your present guild can or could down us alone. We are doing our best to make AR better. Unfortunately we go no nightcrew and this week you are pretty hard by night.
I hope we will find some people to do something because even if we roxx you every prime-time we will loose.

Alka, there is no WvW guild big enough on RoS to actually match your numbers. And let me be fully clear here ’cause i have no intention of starting another whine fest. When i say “your” numbers i mean only people from NOM.

During prime time GoA and DEX have both around 10-15 people max at the same time. And that’s mostly during reset. Throughout the week it varies from 3-8. And i agree with you that we can’t take you down with pugs. Which is all you’re seeing actually. Completely random made zergs by one of our commanders. And i do believe you know how pugs are like.

Now, offer for some nice duels still stands if you wanna compare skills instead of joining these pointless flame wars here.

If you mean a guild on guild action then you can ask around, but to say we don’t have a guild that can beat yours is kind of groundless if you ask me.

We have roaming guilds like [TH] for example who would welcome an open field fight, and they usually do their own thing. Also, we have many dedicated defenders who enjoy anti-sieging and defending towers/keeps more than open field fights, and most of them are part of small guilds like [CVR], [MR], or other small guilds who like to do small scale roaming and run in groups of no more than 4-5. [GoA] is usually in EB assisting the zerg or doing guild flank while a GoA commander leads the zerg somewhere else, [DEX] usually leads the defense in our bl or assaults a different bl… and the list goes on and on.

The point is, we don’t depend on one particular guild. We’ve learned from previous experiences that depending on one guild will have very bad results on the server, as well as the said guild, and I advice you to do the same. I think your server depends too much on your guild.

Yeah this week and some weeks ago. Watching at the pops of the server there hasn’t been any loss for us, it was fun tho wiping alot of RoS and fooling around at anz vista in EB couple of days ago

Multiple reasons. Crazy queue time since they opened up free transfers for a few days. Unbearable skill lag. 100man+ blobs running around etc. Wvw wasn’t fun anymore.

I’m having an awesome time here. I almost forgot how much fun wvw used to be.

Apparently there is blobbing everywhere regardless of tiers. So far i’ve just seen the usual zergs which is nothing bad, Just like pre culling patch wvw (where wvw was kinda fun minus the dying before seeing what killed you side)

In tier 1 we had to face 100+ blobs and servers couldnt take anything without the 3rd server trying to take it as well. We’ve had fights where the lord room had a 100 blob, the walls another blob and us in the middle staring at them, then the skill lag kicked in…

I will agree with the above statements. We need to train as a guild and that thing was impossible after the free transfers on medium servers(Sfr) , queue was horrible and all BL was gathering in one blob-force-zerg.

I ran with them yesterday, just to observe, and I can tell you these guys are just fun to watch. Very nice people as well, unlike many guilds who transfer from higher tiers, they are anything but elitists. They immediately hopped on our forum and introduced themselves and they constantly communicate with us, unlike some of the transfer guilds we’ve had before. Whether they improve the server or not, I am glad they became part of our Surmia family.

I very much enjoyed reading this forum thread… and the Whiteside Ridge recruitment one too. Last night WR had caic(?) night capping almost all night… and they did really well at defending your stuff too. Was funny seeing them send 10+ ppl to deal with my solo raiding though. I think the only 1v1 I saw was when I got caught by some mesmer with my pants down… which was fun fighting with a focus and a great sword and nothing else.

My name is Sird, self appointed Human Resource manager and Public Relations manager of Velocity Corporation.

We have had a lot of fun these past few days in WvW since transferring. We came to T8 to get away from the huge map blobs that exist in T1 and that have made T1 unplayable. We, along with RiOT, came here to have fun and play as a guild once again. Something we could not do in T1 because of queues after the free transfers.

We are not a elitist or egotistical bunch of people. We will work with the community and answer any questions people may have regarding WvW.

So far this match up has been great. Not just in game but on the forums as well. Something that T1 was greatly lacking.

May this continue for the remaining days and for the future.
