im not a big fan of those attempts to lure people away, underworld hasnt got as many WvWers as you guys may.

But our tight core group would make any Gunnars guy or gal feel warm and fuzzy inside.

No matter the outcome, you got served last night in EB having at least twice the numbers.

That is what makes UW awesome, even tho its primary a PVE server.

Gunnar’s Hold is primiarly a PVE server too and that’s why we should try and consider synching servers.. ?

You should always be welcome on our GH mumble server, to see how our tight core groups organize things.

Anyone else think this is a pretty crappy thing to do? Directly asking another server to give up and move to them?

Why don’t you get your players on Underworld? We have less forces and still managed to be just 20k points behind you after a week of playing and the gap is closing each week we play

Why don’t you move to us if you feel your server isn’t up to standard?

Having played last night against Gunnars, I only have to thank you for letting us practice guerilla tactics and defense, countering your zergs was a lot of fun.
You are welcome to join us ofc, we sure have a lot of chalenges you can build upon on your path to become leet.

Woah easy guys. No need to get your noses out of joint. If anything Vincavec gave you guys a compliment and I think if nothing else it should be taken as such. Certainly there was no mention of things like “Just give up” and really no need for the petty sniping.

Personally I’ve not really fought Underworld this week – partly due to work and partly because Drakkar or defense have been my focus the couple of nights I’ve played. Hopefully some of you will join Nidhogg’s weekly washup this evening on Mumble comms, can chew the fat over some of the great (or not so great) fights we’ve had this week

anyhow i find this step a little awkward, I mean if you are interested in putting together our forces, you shouldnt post that on the official forums. Better would have been to contact one of our people, this request is jsut so wrong on so many levels.

Underworld is a cool name but these posts for Gunnars are popping up everywhere and it seems a tiny bit desperate now.

Quite a few Underworld players moved to Gandara after we faced of against them and although I was sad to see Undy lose players I was happy to see more WvWers on Gandara

If people want to migrate to another server they should do so through organic means as those players from Underworld did last time Posts like this may tempt people over but what about those left behind to struggle? (Pretty sure I know what comes next but what if they DON’T want to move because they like their server?)

Prolly what Vinc meant is that we face a similar situation on both servers and, dragged by enthusiasm, proposed a sort of “merge” xD

I can’t really argue about the name thing

I’ve not really fought Underworld this week so not personally in a position to comment on good fights between GH and UW. Its the kind of chat that usually comes up at Nidhogg’s weekly washup with the servers that are matched up against us.

And for the record, while Gunnars Hold does need more fighers Id advise anyone against transfering to us this week. The coming week will not be a fun one for Gunnars Hold.

Underworld, I’d love to hear of you beating our zergs, no irony or sarcasm intended. Ive been mostly fighting Drakkar this week, wont call them a zerg even though they outnumbered us heavily most of the time.

They knew what they were doing, good response time as well.

.. I don´t really understand the “server pride” .. nor the need for “transfer” between different servers – for the “purpose of better WvW performance” ..
( both thinks appear meaningless from my point of view )

Never the less. I hold honor against every opponent I face .. I see glory in every battle I fight .. and I achieve both in victory, or defeat. Twas another glorious week on the battlefield .. and I´m looking forward to another one.

There was no harm meant and it was never intended to be an insult, merely a sign of affection as GH is in a similar state.

I for one feel this is the best way to do this kind of thing, its a lot better then someone going behind My/Servers back & whispering x Guild/s then finding out a week or two down the line that x Guild/s have moved due to a sneaky recruitment from another server.

This way everyone’s cards are on the table for all to see & make up their own minds on what they feel is best for them, atm I feel Underworld wold not benefit from moving to GH as we on GH are going threw another bad week of upheaval’s due to Guilds moving, this dose not mean I don’t want others to move to us because I do but atm I can not guarantee that GH can offer the Greener pastures the some Guilds are looking for.

I can Guarantee that any Guild/s that do move to GH will be welcomed with open arms & that you will be fighting alongside some of the nicest guys I have met in my whole MMO history, but you will also be fighting one of the hardest uphill battles of your life due to where GH once was & our fall from grace & vicious fighting no matter how outnumbered we are has made us a Target for many.

I am a loyal person & I am going to stay with the friends I have made on GH, if they wish to move to another server I will follow as-long as its not to AG or BT,if they quit GW2 then I will look for a new home for myself be that a New Server or staying on GH.

Anyway the cards have been laid out on the table & those that read this thread are free to make their own minds up on the matter.
