Whoever gets Stonemist Castle first; just let them have it. Seriously. Please. Just let them have it. Anytime there’s a big fight in Stonemist the entire EB suffers from intolerable skill lag. So I urge you, just let them have it. Just let them have it.

You say this now, but wait until they fill it with trebuchets and you can’t hold any neighboring towers as a result.

Until treb range is nerfed or treb range from high ground is revisited, battle for SM will keep coming.

Smc is a collossal liability anyways unless you have the overwhelming coverage to wp it.

It’s my belief that the best way to deal with SM when it’s held by an opponent, is to treb down a wall then let your other opponent go in and take it (or try to). If they succeed, treb the wall down again so that the previous owner can try to take it back. Keep going like this, letting the other two teams swap ownership back and forth, but don’t let either of them keep it long enough to build lots of siege or a waypoint. Meanwhile, while your opponents are throwing bodies at each other in SM, take everything else on the map.

Unless of course, your server is strong enough to take SM and hold it (without sacrificing everything else). In that case, go ahead and do that.

At least PvE don’t lag the entire map but I’m sure you know I was being sarcastic.

It really is a huge liability if you can’t keep up the constant maintenance of it. If you’re in a tier you don’t belong in coverage wise it basically just becomes an overgrown grub of champ spirit. Pvers get all excited when they see those and SM and won’t go away no matter how much common sense you can spam.

i don’t know how anyone can complain about increased range due to elevation. that’s how it works IRL. (anyone complaining about this especially being in the northernmost spot in EB is a little contradictory)
