The Green Arrow
Nope, I like it, I put the lowbies at the heart of large zergs so the mindless zerglings go straight for them and. Die as they wade through our team, it’s hilarious.
As their mother, I have to grant them their wish. – Forever Fyonna
I agree with OP, no reason for the enemy to see it.
With that said, I love the green arrow… tells me who to aim for in big groups.
Though, even if it were removed, you can often tell the low levels still by their armor; not as fancy.

Use this to your advantage and go full out tank spec. You’ll be able to get some insane HP with some of the gear and while they start wondering why on earth they couldn’t kill you your teammates will have an easy time killing them.
I tend to get vit/toughness gear on my lowbies at lvl 35 till around 60 or so and be very durable. Just try and focus on getting skills that give a benefit to the group such as boons / CC and wait for the true damage dealing till you’re higher level.

Fortunately most don’t do that. So when a team puts them in the middle as bait or they are killed first, the sight of downed players really affects morale, and can easily sway the direction of battle, scaring off the cowards., and making that house of cards fall

Most people seriously don’t build tanky for WvW? Seriously? I don’t even know what to think.

There are two extremes you’ll usually see, the Beserker and the Bunker; the former’s goal is to DPS you down before you can get many hits in, and the latter is to be as unkillable as possible (though they can’t kill you either).
I’d say 60-70% of players focus on Power/Damage in WvW, i.e. the former.

When I first started out in WvW, I was told to go glass because when two zergs collide even tanky armour can’t save you. The other argument I heard was that by staying in the middle of a zerg you’re safe from aoe so being glassy is better.
