I can’t see kain or mag making it past tier 3. Once they get there it will be a close battle. Ill only do top three teirs after that to be honest I have never followed.

It is impossible to be certain about any of this stuff right now, because so many guilds are considering server moves before the paid transfers go in.

But if current trends continue it seems like there will once again be ten servers fighting to be in the top three tiers. The odd server out, will drop to tier four for a week and enjoy a relaxing blowout.

I guess those ten, in no particular order, will be SoS, JQ, BG, SoR, TC, CD, FA, DB, MAG, KAIN.

As far as some of the unknowns go. How far will SBI fall, or will it stabilize somewhere in the top four tiers? Will YB grow or lose people before the 28th? If those two servers can survive mostly intact, it will give us 12 servers in the top four tiers with reasonable good match-ups.

Then there is an even more interesting question, are any of the servers in the bottom four tiers going to enjoy the boon of guilds transfering to them? Just a couple reasonably sized guilds transferring to a single server could create a mini-bandwagon server that would be well positioned for post-28th success.

I would put SBI in tier 4 maybe even tier 5.

CD and DB will most likely be fighting over tier 3 each week, with FA and TC (Oh boy who can wait) duking it out every week for T3 victory.

SBI is most likely T4 material for sure. If it’s best case, it’ll fall T3. Worst case is going into T5.

Either way, I’d like taking a break from the game that’s all about who has the biggest zerg.

Its good to know all the old Darkhaven guilds are still prospering!

Whatever it is, it will be fairly stagnant. Once free transfers stop most people/guilds will stay in place.

Lets hope the changes coming will do something positive for WvW, that helps mix it up. ArenaNet shouldn’t be worried about the people that still frequent the forums and play the game. Its the silent ones that have stopped all together that ArenaNet should be concerned about.

I sincerely doubt that Tarnished Coast is going to drop below T3 within the next four weeks. If you forgot about us then I understand.

My personal prediction is that, if Maguuma doesn’t reach T2 this week, they’ll get trapped in a micro-bubble at the top of T3 like we did for so long. If they do reach T2, then Fort Aspenwood will have that honor.

Either way, if we drop below T3 it won’t be in four weeks or less, lol. Don’t buy into server hype — Maguuma’s best case scenario is all of their transfers leaving elsewhere (such as Kaineng or Sea of Sorrows), and their worst case scenario is skipping T3 and getting rolled by Rall.

Tbh don’t know much about TC just going by what your doing against sbi and if all there guilds left like people are saying in forums I figure you would be smashing them. Since your not maybe TC having issues as well. Of course all speculation. I know all the servers I put above that have had substantial wvw transfers so yeah. I could be wrong it’s all just a guess lol

Hard to smash anything when you’re getting smashed, SoR got mad transfers yo.

That’s not a complaint, just clearing it up. I don’t mind losing when outnumbered.

I’d really like to see SBI rally at some point and defeat Kaineng if they meet.

There are a lot of terrible zerg guilds that get credit where it isn’t due, but I’m not sure if any are more undeserving than WM.

Though on another note Im probably wrong as the question was in a month. I’m more thinking 2 months from now on second thought stuff happens slow with current system

SoR has better prime time than BG and just got the coverage to most likely match them at Oceanic hours, which was the only reason BG got out of T2 at the time anyways. I suspect BG/SOR will be trading places in T1 alot.

Yes, FA did get people, but I doubt they will be able to take on maguuma’s new force. They are bearly beating DB when they were about 2x tier 4, and mag has 5x tier 4 or something, they will be tier 2+
FA will linger around in T3 with DB/Kain/TC <TC or Kain will be winning but not enough to go up.
Tier 4 is most likely to be CD/YB/EB, <- will be well ballanced probably.
Anyway, who knows whats gunna happen this is just a prediction

Let me make it clear , maguuma is getting more transfers now , we killed it in t5 but the reason for that was because maguuma has gotten more organized more then ever showing the world vs world community what we are all about. Maguuma has been undermanned for a very long time and we managed to stay in tier 4 for a while before we dropped. Then we got transfers after we started getting better. Bottom line transfers were a factor after we started doing so well.

SBI has lost 95% of its WvWvW player base, all coverage spots barring 5 hours US primetime are empty. We heading straight to tier 8, but, thats ok. Having played from top to bottom, I am ok with that.

The real question is which server will @JesseCox accuse of hacking ANet’s servers next?

We have a bare oceanic presence…you must also be predicting that we get one of those o_O I think Kerithlan is right…don’t buy into the server hype. We might be stomping T4, but that’s because IoJ is unfortunately a no show. I’d personally be (unpleasantly) surprised if we made it past T3 in our current state.

SoR had a 90 minute queue to get into TC BL last night because they are putting up a good fight still. Even SBI is putting up a good fight.

Those 2 servers are far from dead, SBI may fall to Tier 3 but TC aint going anywhere.

The real test for mag will be next week against fa and cd so far they haven’t fought anyone that had the numbers to put up a challenge…

Too many people think the times to cover are NA and Oceanic.

Unless SOR has picked up a lot of SEA and Euro guilds they will not match BG or be extremely competitive in T1.

Right now BG has the strongest euro coverage of all the T1 servers. That is why they are doing well.

Unless SOR finds good coverage outside of NA/Oceanic times they aren’t going anywhere for long. T1 is very demanding and you can’t ride your NA/Oceanic crew to victory like you might be able to do in T2.

(also, SOR is the only server that still thinks they have better NA prime time than BG. This was true once but BG has grown a lot since their early T2 matchups. Towards the end of their matches BG was consistently pulling higher PPT in NA than SOR and today there is no telling who has the stronger NA team)

lol silly blackgate, of course NA is considered the primetime for NA servers. And yes SoR does have better NA, can you think of a server other then SoR that has nearly beaten/matched scores with SoS and BG with only NA? I cant seem to think of any, and with all the awesome oceanic’s we’ve gotten the past few days we have put our community in a position to succeed in tier 1.

Are you really comparing SOR and SOS when you guys last played each other they were two very different servers then they are now? inless a server can field all 4 bl in all time zones you don’t have a chance in teir 1. Not saying the people are better there or not personally I’ve seen way better skilled players in lower tiers but its hard to beat the coverage these servers have now got. I would agree though SOR had better NA side then BG when It was IOJ, Bg and SOR just from what I’ve seen BG has grown a lot since thouse times and have had 4 server pop resets plus being in tier one bandwagon players to build on while SOR has really had only massive chance to transfer.

Considering SoR is a NA server, the obvious answer is NA prime time. Who said anyone else was ‘extra coverage’, those are you words not mine.

Oh and I played in T1 on JQ a few months ago before transferring off to seek a better challenge. It is my original server.

Mag won’t leave t3. The 24/7 zergs that out opponents think we have are actually 20 guys at night playing triage and 10 people in the morning. I don’t see us leaving the oceanic tier, and maybe even dropping down to green t4 after 3-4ish weeks in t3.

Consistently is a large stretch there. Every night when I logged out, we were well ahead in PPT during prime time NA hours. The only except seemed to be reset night where everything is a mad scramble and that kept bouncing back and forth.
