We at Sea of Sorrows are welcoming NA guilds to join us folks in tier 1. After the mass influx of transfers to both JQ and BG, we find ourselves outnumbered and in need of more NA support to keep as even a playing field as possible.

“What about the Queues?”
No problem! We only ever have 2 maps full (bar reset night) and often have 1 outmanned map, so there is plenty of room for your guild to play as a whole in the most exciting tier of World v World.

“Im not sure we want to join the top server”
Aha, well this certainly is not the case anymore, i would actually say SoS is the #3 ranked server in reality as it stands.

“What if i cant get my whole guild across?”
No problem! All servers are sitting at Very High so its the perfect chance to make that last minute move before you get trapped on your current server.

“I need some questions answering first”
Simply throw a PM my way and we can get you into Teamspeak with the leaders of the SoS community and guilds. You will see how fantastic the community is and how well each guild work together.

With the influx in numbers to JQ and BG, SOS could use some reinforcements. You are right, I’ve never had a problem with queues. And, the battles we’ve seen the last couple of weeks have been legendary. Just last night; a three way battle for Garrison, combat on all three levels in the keep lord’s room, truly a sight to behold.

The time for recruits is now. Our server coordination is top notch with some of the best commanders out there. So, I do hope to see some new guild tags in WvW.

SoS is also recruiting Oceanics, SEA and Euro’s basically every time slot!

We are fighting a tough fight and have welcomed some new guilds recently, although in terms of sheer numbers we have taken in 2-3 new guilds (SEA&Euro) while our adversaries have taken in 6+ you’ll never be lonely or without a good fight on #SeaofSwag!

Hi guys and potential guilds, SoS is genuinely looking to recruit new guilds for all time slots.

The recent news of server lockdowns has changed the population demographics on BG, JQ and SoS. We are looking for guilds for all times zones to join us in the fight as comrades.

Look beyond the trolling and negative propaganda that SoS does not need help or SoS is stacked. The reality is not true. We need help and reinforcements to fill coverage gaps; it is a fact.

Do you want to play with your guild as a whole instead of being in split up by queue times? SoS does experience periods where we are outmanned and pushed out of the map entirely.

In other words, it translates to mean
(1) no queues
(2) opportunities for different groups and guilds to play together and synergize

Looking for exciting fights?

JQ and BG have been going from strength to strength and field great teams on their part, so there won’t be lacking of a challenge.

Concerns with joining the top server

Rest assured that is not the case. Defending our server title is as difficult as trying to take it. More difficult it would seem and this is exactly where you will be making a significant contribution. The fights will intense and challenging for your guild and you.

We don’t feel like we’re contributing?

WvW is a joint effort across the whole server with each match lasting across a week. Everybody plays a part. It’s almost a baton relay with each timezone passing it on to the next, with each timezone doing their best. All guilds in all timezones play a VERY significant part and are contributing at all times.

Bandwagoning

There’s lots of smack talk going around about bandwagoning. No server is pure and every server has grown by absorbing guilds from across different servers.
SoS does not make that differentiation. Once you are on SoS, you are part of the community.
Prove to the “bandwagon” detractors on the battlefield that you are better than what they say you are on the forums.

Just floating by to give this a slight push.
I actually transfered from the EU side over for scouting because we thought that everyone would not join the top server therefore doing exactly this would create a nice balance.Unfortunately the announcement of guesting being divided by NA/EU put an end on those plans but I ended up staying and am wondering if one of the german guilds turned up on SOS or we have a mixed one for all the indiviual peeps. I have seen a few new guilds with a force but none i remember myself (although I recognized one on JQ side). But weekends make it diffitult to judge timezones anyway.

I can vouch that it`s a nice community and compared to the EU/german side you guys are all absolutly fluffy. Play style seems different though. I have never seen maps with that many commanders but on the other hand not much on sniping, sneaks, diversion and defence but that might be because I am sitting on a low work connection this week until thursday (getting dcs every few minutes which makes me a litte bit useless this round) and having simply not seen it or been on during the wrong time.

And so far on the gmt timeline I can confirm there is no issues on waiting time for wvwvw, which is absolutly nice compared to playing primetime EU. I am hoping this has not to turn into PvDooring any time soon and that all upper servers will manage to bring up a force for the respective timelines.

On the bandwagoning, as you guys call it, I cannot comment. Naturally it seems a big concern on EU side, but there is no use of joining a lower NA server to escape eu prime time probs not because they are not good but more because there would not be any competition, at least on the EU time frame.

These guys really need you in the days to come, if you enjoy hard fights, there’s no better place to prove yourself at this point, I will admit that JQ has become a bit of a monsters, so PLEASE think about transferring your guild over to SoS, I’ve heard that they have a great community, and they definitely have the type of organization that can make WvW really enjoyable.

Due to ~10 guilds transferring into JQ. We are being outnumbered by them in almost all timezones. Would appreciate your presence!

Thank you for your concern. I understand that you may not grasp what being in T1 contest is like, but with the hard work done by jQQ recruitment teams, this past week and half of Wv3 has brought ALOT of SoS weaknesses to the fore front, as far as coverage goes. Yes, there has been a furry of activity from our server looking to recruit. However 90% of our threads have been trolled by negative posts such like yours. ONCE AGAIN, it is our right to recruit, and I personally hope your post gets domed . I take it offensive. DO NOT judge until you have walked in our shoes. This a game and we play for fun. Keep your trolling to your own recruitment threads, and if you had the gusto to actually have a sig that delineated what server you from, I would address this issue on a smaller scale, but you do not.
