massive encounters = fighting ghosts. . . ( in EU servers )
Nope whole game is a ghost fight. Same in any NA matches.
True pvpers are getting annoyed quickly.
He who aoe’s the ground the best wins.
Also would point out that this is just not in pvp. Just run around la or really anywhere nothing renders lol. So bad. This on top of the line computers?
Watch out too forum mods will prolly delete this thread or move it. They are such trolls.
For real tho welcome to beta.

Yup that clipping is a terrible issue that required an urgent fix. Massive encouters are completely screwed just because you do not see your ennemy and he does not see you. It’s like beeing thrown into a pitch black room with 5 other ppl and beeing asked to hit your ennemies, they are 3 of the 5. Well gl.
Never had this issue, despite playing mainly WvW. Could be server specific, I suppose?
isn’t it the attacking force that can see the enemy since that’s what i’ve noticed or am i sorely mistaken.
Why they should delete this thread? Nah, I hope someone from Anet should explain us about this issue. Deleting posts doesn’t fix problems.

I posted about this the day the forums opened over in the Bug Reporting forum. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/BUG-Mobs-and-players-suddenly-appearing-pop-in/first#post56969
I’ve got a post in that thread also collecting other threads about this issue. I’ll add yours to it.
This bug actually ranks higher on the problem list for me then the queue times. Invisible enemy mobs are unbearable and ruin WvW for me.
I remember the week of launch I played WvW for 12 hours straight for several days, and died maybe a three times each session. This first week I never ran into this problem. Now, for some reason this problem with mobs of invisible enemy players is common, and thus I die constantly. I can’t stand it. I shouldn’t have to deal with the 10 minute run back to the fray because I was killed unfairly due to a graphical anomaly.
Also, just yesterday I played WvW where it was Medium population versus Medium population versus Low population. Didn’t see the issue a single time. I then transfered to my original server, waited 4 hours to get into WvW (of course), and almost immediately experienced the invisible enemy players.
Sounds like the WvW population caps need rolled back to launch limits.

This is one thing about WvW so far I’ve found just utterly game breaking… you see that one guy and think ‘omfg mine!’ and when you get close to him 20 more of his team appear out of nowhere and the bad times begin
Arenanet HAVE to fix this issue, it’s completely pointless to have PvP in such a state that entire zergs are effectively stealthed as they move around. How are you even meant to judge whether it’s time to push or hunker down when you have no idea how many enemy players are actually there, might be the 5-6 guys you see, might be 50-60 more stood with them
This is a big issue, does only happen if servers are well crowded.

I’m assuming this is some sort of “phasing” feature they have to keep people’s framerate stable by limiting how many players are on screen. I noticed this in the beta events and what not.
