That photo doesn’t do it much justice (it’s the only one I found of that particular hairstyle for assassins) but it’s really honestly a great hair that I’d love to see in GW2 if it can be somehow implemented.

I’d rather a better mohawk than emo hair. Or a mohawk for girls. The ’faux’hawk is so lame.

I’d rather see more normal hairstyles that fit in with the setting. You can tell which were added for the sake of appeasement based on the number of NPC’s sporting them.

Imagine my surprise to find that this was not a joke thread.

I always find hairstyles in any game to be lacking, I always have to choose which I hate the least most of the time.

When you look around and a big number of characters have the same hairstyle, I think it might be a good pointer that the other options are not liked much. They should concentrate on variations of what is popular choices amongst players instead of giving many options that barely will be used.
And the same can be said for faces.

1. The terms you are looking for are more along the lines of Scene hair, or Goth. Emo, While still fits the situation, Is more of a reference to a person emotions, not the clothes or outer style.

2. I agree that there needs to be more of these styles of hair, But to be honest. I think the game is lacking many, many hair styles that would fit well, some that are more “lore-friendly” and some that are a little more modern.

isn’t there enough “whitey-hair” already in the game? How about giving us some “non-caucasian” types of hair like you know maybe a normal small afro (not the plastic fake afro that you can buy in a toy store thats in the game). And cornrows maybe not only for asura but for humans?
I’d like to see dreadlocks that actually looks and behaves like real dreadlocks as well. How about a real buzzcut? Curly hair and so on and so on.

The hairstyles pictured in this thread are hilarious. The default range is admittedly bland though. I went with one theme-friendly style on an early character… only to find it had weird clipping issues with his face. So the next one was a mohawk on the guy with a black eye.

Actually, this is a good idea, simply to make the emos easier to spot. They’re no threat, what with their jumping off cliffs and cutting themselves (off from their allies). It’s like the #baldforbieber thing.

but the emo hairstyle is in no way fitting and since your ment to be a great commander in tyria …since when has an emo asppired to anything like that?
theres a “gothic face” on human with black/red makeup thats run like they have been crying mixing this with any hairstyle gets you the goth look ..mix it with emo hair and youll ruin the look. even when you apply this and use /dance you gain a big cheesy grin that jsut makes you look like your takeing the mic
another thing havent you ever played attention to the diologe? its all ‘happy, bold and dominant’ an emo talking like this would be fake and more unrealistic then dragons…

I was kinda of dissapointed with the all the human hairs. I found one tho and it’s probably what you call emo hair.. I would like to see more old fashioned hairdo’s in the game. Some of the hair cuts just looks like your average redneck with foam in their hair.

I just want my Necromancer’s devilock from GW1 back.
