I do not mean to be negative, but this wait is getting a bit ridiculous. NCSoft requested specific information from me to process the support ticket I put in 6 days ago. Besides an automated response from someone named “Lance” which did no good, I have not heard anything. I understand there are several thousand tickets to be processed, but a simple verification check is really all that is needed. There is no reason at all that I should not be able to just give them the name I registered to the account, my GW2 Serial #, my character name, account name, and e-mail address and then have my account unlocked.

6 day ban for a keylogger that hacked my account, this should not happen.

I’ve simply had enough of this and requested a complete refund, otherwise i will simply go to my bank within the next 2-3 days, who will request papers from the police so gonna need to pay them a visit aswell.. Customer service is for me an important part of the game, and so far, i have probably better chances to get in contact with al-Qaeda than Anet..

Don’t count on getting your stuff back, but you should eventually write an ingame-ticket on that issue.

How long? Well, it depends I guess. There is no certain work pattern when it comes to resolving any of these tickets.

I wouldnt hold your breath, there are people reporting they have been waiting for 12 days .. I myself have been in the queue for 6 days.

Depending on the type of hack that happened to you, you may or may not have all your items/characters intact. If you were banned for selling in game gold/items then chances are your gear, bank, and money were all salvaged and sent to a gold farmers account. The good news is that it does not look like they are actually deleting the characters, just stripping them and hoping that you build up your toon again without taking security measures so they can take all your stuff again in a few weeks … get some good virus protection, change you e-mail address and create a unique password for GW2.
