So basically i don’t have serial code, probably deleted that registration email containing it while ago while clearing mail inbox (its from prepurchase from official site – april 2012). Now im basically waiting till you guys block my account for simply returning to the game 2 months ago and playing the game 0_o. Also be more precise in stating reasons, this email doesn’t answer why it will get blocked/restricted at all and looks more like phishing attempt with this vague info – “abnormal login”, “currency transactions”, would ignore if it wasn’t sent from ArenaNet email.

This email is a phishing attempt and is NOT sent by Anet, it just looks like it is. If you’ve clicked the links and entered any information I’d suggest you change your game password ASAP.

it came from ArenaNet <noreply@guildwars2.com>; so official email :P An i got ip confirmation since gw2 launch so no worries for stealing, had lots of chineese ips attempts at winter 2012 already xD

Nope, it is not an official email.
They never send emails like that. It is a phising attempt.

It is very easy to make a mail appear to come from a certain address without it actually coming from that address.

I’ve received a good twenty at least of those emails and my account is fine. There are also several threads in this subforum of people asking about this exact mail, and red posts confirming they are scams.

It’s not hard to spoof the “From” email in the basic header.

Ofcourse a question that needs to be asked is – Did you click that link? If so did you enter any info? If so CHANGE EVERYTHING.
