My main account got hacked between 08-05-2014 and 09-05-2014 when i tryed to login it didnt let me login so i reset my password i saw that in “Authorized Networks” it was a chinese ip that i did not authorized … 01 , CN ( 60.166.227.238 ) 60.166.227.0 – 60.166.227.255 they destroyed all my equipment so they can removed all my runes and i lost all my gold… and alot of items…even the dungeon tears was gone… after i saw this i communicate with ArenaNet support and they clean all the Authorized Networks and make me reset my password but after i reset my password i cant even enter in my main account since the hacker put a Mobile Authenticator when they hacked my account and since ArenaNet clean the Authorized Networks i cant even enter on forum with my main account because it need the code… i update my ticked and said what the hackers did and 2 days have pass… and i didnt got my problem solved…

I hope i got all my items back because if not i prefere to quit GW2 its a game that i really love but losing all my items and if they dont fix it i will loose my will to continue playing in a empty account… i have this account but i dont even play here because of that …

Sorry for my bad english its not my main language and i will uptade this topic so the people who have the same problem know how it ends…

It takes some time to restore an account, and CS is a bit overwhelmed right now. It should not be too long of a wait. Good luck.

I was seeing my mail account activity and saw that a chinese ip was trying and failing to find my mail password since day 14 of the past month and in day 8 os this month he succeed…it was in that day that i got hacked then today after i saw that i tell my friends and they ALL had the same problem and all after that day and month but in theyre case the hacker didnt find theyre password we all now put a Mobile Authenticator on our mail and i switch password but its very weird that only those friends i know who play GW2 had the same problem…

Still i cant enter in my account because of the Mobile Authenticator that hacker put in my main GW2 account and ArenaNet didnt help me yet after 2 days…

So guys i sugest all who see this post go check your mail account activity and put there too a Mobile Authenticator…

Mobile Authenticator only works if you have a smartphone, not everyone does.

feel your pain, thank god no mobile authenticator applied on me when i realise it few hours ago… though the time i realize it its already too late haha trying to cheer myself with fake laugh

Today a chinese hacker tryed again to hack my mail account as you guys can see here

the text was taken by my mail recent activity… now i dont know how they know about this mail… its a gaming mail that i use only and i write again ONLY for Guild Wars 2 , HearthStone, Vindictus and League of Legends and btw i have alot of mails one for facebook, skype other for college other for this account and others mails for others stuffs… and only that mail was hacked and they only hack my main GW2 account… so the chinese hacker know that mail is used for GW2 he knows! and i dont know how he knows that.

I was never hacked in my life in any other games that i played and never been hacked in any of my mails till now… i’m really kittened off not just because they hack my GW2 account that have alot of gold and items that really rake me alot of my time to have and when i say this is really alot of time since i was one those guys who come from work or college and do AC all paths, twilight and others to farm my gold and tears and now its all gone and no answer from ArenaNet till now 3 days and still counting… but because they hacked MY MAIL and i feel really REALLY kittened off because of that…

And after i change my password and my security in my mail they still trying to hack my mail because of this game! I dont that mail for fan sites since i dont go to any i only used that account to registe in LOL, HearthStone, Vindictus and GW2 nothing more all my friends are having the same problem about those chinese hackers trying to find theyre passwords…

So just a suggestion to you all go to your mail and see your recent activity i’m not kidding all my friends have chineses trying to find theyre mail…

so my case is… i contact GW2 support they reset my password i cant enter because the hacker put a mobile authenticator when he hacked my GW2 account and after 3 days no more answer about my case…

regards i will update my case as soon as i have more news… to help the ppl who are in the same situation

I know the feeling, cuz it happend to me yesterday. They took my Mobile Auth aswell. But the support removed the authenticator.. so i could use it myself. (They restored it today). still hopin’ they get my gear back.

good for you.. couple of hours more its 2 days time after sending my ticket, really hope to get some good news from them, every single hour I’ve been refreshing my email praying for a mail to come from arenanet bout my account recovery ><

How long does it take to get your stuff back? I got hacked yesterday they sold everything on every toon and my bank even my bags! lol I got an email from anet said they will look into it.
