Guys,
While this is a discussion forum, there’s a ton of chatter in this thread, and that slows the process of getting you the help you need. Please post once and only once, and please include your 12-digit support incident or ticket number.
Let me explain. I’m reviewing incident numbers, working with several customer support agents. I can pull the incident number, but it took me more than an hour to do that last night because I kept having to sort through the list — every single time — to see if someone kept posting again and again. The last thing I want to do is send a list to the agents with the same incident number 5 times, or have them look up the same ticket over and over again.
Also, please do not exaggerate the time you’ve been waiting. You will be helped, and it’s nor really right to say “I’ve been waiting several days” when it’s been one day.
So if you posted multiples, please go back and edit to remove them. Things will move more swiftly for all of us if you do.

Preordered the game, got to play the head start, 2 days later a Hurricane (Issac) hits my State in the U.S. and I lose power until September 3rd. When we get our power back I try to log on only to find out I am permanently banned for gold selling, etc. At some point the email authorization was put into place and I have 12-14 attempts to log into my account from other countries. I have sent that information as well as provided everything you have asked for. I have not received any responses either.

So I downloaded the patch. I log in play for a few mins and get a messege I have been banned for hacking or attempting to hack. I have never hacked in any game I have ever played i.e. everquest 2, warhammer online, etc… The only issue is my ISP is hughes net which is crappy for playing online games let alone using the internet, which lags me out alot. With guild wars 2 I have been only running around the different areas and unlocking the world till I get new internet. I also, did not get any email or notification in game like the rules said they would if I were to be banned or warnings for doing anything unusual. Does this mean I have been hacked or what’s going on.

I have been looking and reading different forum posts and seeing varying responses on replies regarding accounts. I also read information on the rules and conduct, etc. My question is what is the eta on when I will get a response if I posted on here and submitted tickets around 1am? Shouldn’t I have gotten an email with a description or in game warning or other form of contact other then saying, ‘You have been banned for hacking or attempting to hack…’ I have never hacked in any game I have played in my life. All information on my situation are in the tickets. I was looking forward to a weekend playing guild wars 2 after a long week of work please reply or send me an email. I would like to get this resolved ASAP

My husband account got hacked, the email got changed. Last known time that he actually log in was around 2.30am EST, when the maintenance was about to happen. (from what he tells me)

Now his email is no longer an existing account, should he re-create his account or wait it out?

She received an email notification that her account name was changed on that date.
It concerns me that the hackers were able to accomplish this so easily.
No secret word, or serial number requirement to make such a drastic change to an account only 3 days after it was created?

I was accused for buying/selling in game items/gold, which is a false accusation.
I received an e-mail from “Lance” which did no good, because my e-mail and password are still good, though I did change my password recently to enhance security.

I have been waiting for 8 days now. No, this is not an exaggeration. Someone told me to “wait” 4 days ago and someone told me to “wait” 2 days ago. That’s all the feedback I’ve received. Sort it out please. Or at least inform your CM to stop putting in false information in your Daily update newsletter. The backlog of hacked accounts have quite obviously not been cleared.

Similar to many others, my account’s email address has been changed preventing me from getting it back. All I received was an email stating that the email had been changed. Of course I never authorized this change through email and here we are.
I submitted a ticket on the Sept. 5 to have my email address changed back and received multiple responses from Lance who was completely ineffective.
Ticket #120906-003019. I also do not have my serial code.

well ive not been hacked but for no reason at all my account has been suspended for 71 hours (what an odd time hehe) anyway when I try to log abck in I get the banned for abusive language msg. I find this totally unacceptable not only NOT receiving a warning, or an e-mail of proof of this so called abusive language. What annoys me most is the /m always has 2 or 3 trolls who verbally abuse new players simply asking questions OR people just chatting in /m These ppl are still there, same names i remember from day 1. all swearing and abusing “noobs” both in PVE and more often in WvW as well as the goldspamming bots adverts going off now and then. Of course Ive reported such people and I get banned?!?!?!? FS Anet what are you thinking? I exepct a response via email with so-called PROOF of what was said and where it was said (there will be none) and my account immediatly re-enabled. I will be asking my cc company to get a charge back from you as you clearly are not providing me with what you sold. If this and what Ive read above is how you treat your customers I would rather not play and get a refund. Thought blizzard with D3 was poor but this takes the cake

I am in the same boat as you are! I have been waiting here checking my email like every min and reading what others have said and posted and re-reading the rules and conducts. Yet, I have never received any email or in game notification what I had done . What is going on? There are no definite answers any where!
