Hey! That mistfire wolf looks great and I think it would go well with my Norn ranger. Too bad my account got hacked and I haven’t been able to access the game since 9/7/12 or else I might happily give you money to upgrade my account.

This is ridiculous, if you did hire more staff, this would have been resolved by now. Get your act together. There’s obviously a problem on your side, stop blaming your customers for your lack of security. I have never seen such horrible tech support for a game. I had better service from Free to play games. where are your in-game support, GM or other.

If you admit to your mistakes, and apologize..maybe..just maybe you won’t loose your player base. Just saying! Show us your worth akitten to even bother with the game that clearly botter/hacker/scammer ridden. big STAY AWAY sign, this game isn’t worth the stress. People are waiting in line over a week now..that is unacceptable of a waiting time, for anyone. You should compensate them all.

I’m posting for my friend whose account was compromised as recent as sometime between 4.a.m EST and 8 a.m. EST today – September 11th, 2012. He found out it was stolen when he attempted to log-in this morning and could not as the returned error was that his log-in credential no longer existed.

The hacker is still on the account as I type this.

I was hacked earlier today, it is now 19:42 (Romania Timezone) and the last time i had previously logged in was at around 6:00 in the morning. When I logged in after I woke up, I found all my High End crafting materials sold on the Trading Post. They were worth at around 3-4 gold. All i found on the Trading Post was 1.2 gold so i must assume that the rest was mailed to some other account and the gold I found were some items that sold after they had done that. I changed my email and password as soon as I found out i was hacked and I am hoping that maybe my character can get rolled back to what I had this morning? I would greatly appreciate some help on this issue.

sorry to say, but they do not have a roll back or restoration system in the game right now.

I am posting on behalf of my friend who had his account hacked. The incident number is -

There should be some way for people to report hacked accounts without having to log in for, I would have though, obvious reasons.

I’d like to preface this statement by saying that currently, my account is relatively safe, fortunately. However, a friend of mine isn’t so lucky. He was recently hacked, and I have found the proceedings to be deplorable as far as security is concerned. When the hacker got a hold of his information, he received an e-mail stating only this:

Your account information has changed, and your e-mail address is now changed. Hopefully you changed this.

Now, I’m certainly paraphrasing as I do not possess the original message, but it retains the meaning. He had no chance to defend his account (with one level 80), no chance to deny the change, precisely no warning before his account was lost. Now, this man is not only my friend, but he is also the leader of an entire guild. One that may not be gigantic, but boasts nearly 100 members. A callous hacker would likely disband the entire guild and steal the contents of the bank, causing much of our work and community to dissolve for nothing. It is my solemn hope that this issue may be resolved and the damage be reversed, or at least mitigated.

Issue resolved after approximately 97 hours.

Decided this game isn’t worth it. Failure of Arena net not providing an authenticator system, their obviously compromise in many of these “hacks” in their security, and the long delays as a customer to get this problem solved has made me reach a decision. This game isn’t worth it. So I’m done. You guys have lost an account and more than likely many in my guild, one with over a thousand members currently playing, will also follow suit with me. Just to let you know I have accounts from EVERY online game to date. I have never been hacked in any game, even ones notorious like Eve and Rift where they have had admitted security compromises. I set my passwords to change constantly. As a government security worker, I’m anal retentive about account and password security and I have to be to maintain my Clearance level. This is inexcusable.

Enjoy the fact Yak’s Bend server will be emptying out soon. My days playing this game are over.

I am posting again on behalf of my friend Zerterga.7659, he was hacked last friday, ticket number 120907-006342. The hacker is still logging in his character, is still naked and farming nodes in mount Maelstrom. He is also the guild leader, the hacker has changed all member settings in guild but luckily not disbanded us. Why has nothing still been done about this?? All he has had is automated emails telling him to do the same thing a few days ago, none of which worked. I cannot actually enjoy this game anymore, to worried about some chinese hacker getting hold of it! I would not object to the whole game being taken offline for a few days to get it fixed, people are being hacked on a daily basis and nothing seems to be done about it… but they happily will still sell the game. Can someone at anet please respond? Do something?

Account was hacked, waited five days to have it restore restored to my new email I selected, can now log onto the site and forums but get an error message saying “We have detected that your account may have accessed by an unauthorized individual. blah blah blah” when I actually try to log into the game client

Well no kidding, that’s why I put in a support ticket in the first place, and why you had to restore it to a different email address with a new password. But they still haven’t reset something else obviously so I can get back in the game.

So it is now day 7 and still waiting to play, nothing like been out of the game longer then you’ve been in it.

If you have two tickets open for the same issue, you should close one and have only one ticket open otherwise you’re probably just slowing yourself down.

He hasn’t had a response for days on ticket 120908-008202, he got hacked almost a week ago and they still haven’t resolved his issue. After sending picture proof of his game and serial there still not re-activating his account.

I only play when friends are on like most people and for him to be stripped of this it seriously raises big doubts to the future of us and all our friends playing the game if they cant resolve a simple issue of a hack – My warcraft account got hacked & how long before i was playing again—————> 3.5 hours.

I was at my computer while on the phone and the screen turns black. I tried to log back in and says account terminated. Ticket# 120911-009107 Please help.

I Have had my account for less the 2 weeks and its already hacked. How in the world do this company plan to keep my account info safe if it can get hacked that fast? Befor you ask I have different PW for all the games I play. I had never been hacked until now. They took all the silvers of my toons. Is there any way I can get them back?
