Guild Wars 2

Ok so i jump on the game today to find out it has been Suspended. Due to the name, and I can understand why. Original name was called Alloveryourface, seeing it was a melee guardian class, the meaning behind it was that they will be all over people’s faces in PvP. But when I first got reported, it was for that name. So I got a little upset and admittedly rebelled with the name “Dunkindesenuts” and I understand that you are doing your job. However what I am not too pleased about is how the system seems to be lenient towards certain matters but strict when they shouldn’t be. Yes I understand certain names should not be used and I understand that I may have overstepped a boundary out of frustration. However I grew to love Guild Wars 2 and even helped expand the player base by getting my friends to join in. I would greatly appreciate if the ban could get removed or how do i go about removing the ban so that I may re-name my guardian to something more appropriate and continue playing this great game.

The first is usually just a forced renaming. iirc, no suspension unless it was really bad. It’s the subsequent non TOS names that earn the suspension. You got the first rename, chose a non TOS name (you admit you rebelled) and so you gained a time out.

They won’t remove the suspension. If they did that for some people and not others, there would be claims of favoritism. Also, some people need the full suspension to understand that ANet is serious about this. Otherwise they would continue to make bad names with the expectation that they will get a slap on the wrist and a warning.

I’m afraid you will just have to wait the suspension out.
