Account is banned
Good Day I do not know as I got ban.Anet did not send me amail why I banned . The ban on Thursday , and I have no idea at all Why? . Decent honest player here . Thank you for your answer
Today this afternoon at 3:56pm I logged on to see that my account had been terminated for gold selling which I clearly didn’t do, I have only been playing for a few weeks and over the time that I have been playing I notice little messages about gold selling but simply ignor and delete these messages as soon as I see them.
Im most likely to be a victim of some hacking scam.
I hope that I may be able to redeem my account and that Anet will consider allowing me to have it back even though theres no way to prove that im just a victim of some scam or hack

He writes me that this : Your Guild Wars 2 Account has been Terminated due to botting extended unattended play,using macros,or similar behavior.Attempling to automote gameplay through any means or attempling to circumvent idle-time restrictions in any way is in violation of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct.The account closure is permanent.
But none of this neporuĊĦil.Ani I did not get any email from Anet that through it some how . just an ordinary player Guild Wars 2, and anything like that would never allow it
I contacted them but they do not communicate but my friends from the game ( the guild ) say that it must be a mistake or error. Veeber
Hello Kentaur, I have the same problem and been dealing with it since Thursday night, the only think i can tell you is to wait because so far that’s what i have been told/done as well. It suck but it is what it is. Good luck and I hope you get you account access restored.

Did you write a ticket to ANet to try and talk to them about the issue? That’s the only way they can really communicate on a per account basis.
I need the 12-digit incident number in order to review the case.

Went to log on this morning only to find this message -

I was like OMG what the heck is going on, I went to support no notices from GW2 I popped over to my email – nothing there either. Went back to GW2 support and sent a ticked then started searching the forums.
What I am finding is a little disturbing. Seems a lot of us are being accused of wrong doing and being banned for apparently doing nothing wrong, however I can’t speak for all the other banned accounts only mine…
I have never NEVER sold anything for real money, and why would I ? It’s a game not a job. It’s a game I was enjoying until this morning when I started reading that this seems to be very common practice, humm makes one wonder is this a business decision to get us to buy another code or an error from a snoop software program on their end or just a crazed angry employee with the power to ban on random?
What ever it is I absolutely feel abused, falsely accused, violated, and most of all unwanted by GW2 and to read that it’s taking 72 hours average to have your account unbanned for something you didn’t do astounding …
Here’s another brief though I had about this as well (just throwing this in for no apparent reason other than to make a minor point) …
If you ban say 1000 people who are legit honest players and of them 1000 people say 1/2 decide well if that’s how they want to be then to heck with it I wont go back, and of them 500 1/2 were cash players so at 250 players and say they each spend nothing fancy say 20.00 a month that would be 20 × 250 × 12 and say they were going to play for 2 years humm seems like bad business to me but then again what do I know?
I just enjoy playing and would like to get back in game

Ok, so this morning. without warning i have been permanently banned for assisting gold and such which i AM NOT. i admit i gave money to some friends i know. but isnt that going too far? lending a hand to fellow players? and i think the cause to this is, one time i get a mail on gold selling, its in my in-game mail, and for the fun/trollling of it, i copied it and sent it to my friends, but did not sold any gold to other players. i even don’t know how that works. please review this thouroughly, i have gone so far in the game, and would still like to play again, i waited gw2 for about 2-1 year, having this ban is extremely heartbreaking. it would be such a waste getting ban for something so small. If I may, having not to copy goldspammers again. i will. as long as i get to play again, hoping to get back in. thank you
but i like how gw2 is removing goldspammers and such, though its such a shame other players are being accused of doing such thing when they’re not. please make reviews more carefully and I would just like to suggest, not giving warnings to people who your’e giving permanent bans is kinda harsh, don’t you think?? you should let them know and give a 2nd chance or so. And oh, if you see by my chat box. after I sent the copy-pasted message to some of my friends, you’ll see that they know it was a total joke.
sham: you shouldnt have done that, im sure more then one of the people you sent that to reported it, its a bad idea to forward or say anything to do with gold selling in game, anet could just ban using an automated system with no real human interaction…..wouldnt shock me at all, infact, blizzard does this as well, they ban accounts that send gold selling info even if its just forwards or not all of the message sent, your best bet is to put in a ticket with anet and hope they get you taken care of……if not….guess your forwarding that was a 60-80$ lesson.

It’s really not a good idea to joke around about a serious issue. I imagine you understand that now. Please submit a ticket and an agent will review the case and assist you, if they are able to establish that you were not involved in RMT activities.
