Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone. Yesterday, i was playing GW2 and had connection problems, then i got kicked from game with message “your trial account has expired”, then log-in servers were down. So, today, i’m trying to enter game and receive message that my account was terminated. But if it is so, how can i log-in on guildwars2.com and to GW1? And i haven’t receive any e-mail from Anet.

Hm, well everyone had the issue with the “trial account” today, as they had some kind of server crash. However, your ban message suggests violations of the naming policy. Have you ever been in trouble for a character name before? If not, it could be an error and you should probably send a ticket to Support.

Oh you’re right, I was assuming the red text was the reason. Never mind then.

But i haven’t done nothing with game, all i had is steel series mouse driver program and Zboad Zengine from keyboard, but macroses haven’t been used, just for assign buttons. And what is surprising i can log-in gw1 and account on site guildwars2.com. This is some kind of bug i think. and hope)

You can send a support ticket, wait a few days for a response and then update here. If you truly weren’t using a 3rd party program, and weren’t modifying files, you should have nothing to worry about.

I’m not sure forums and game are connected, I could be wrong. I think you could be banned from forums and not from game. The opposite may not be true. As far as GW1, that is a different game, and technically a different account. So I imagine that you would still be able to log in. It would be like saying they banned me in GW2 now I can’t play Aion. Not that i would mind.. terrible game.. but anywho :P Arenanet has great customer service, Gaile should be what professional businesses base their customer support training off of The others are great too in their own way.

I linked accounts GW1 and GW2, they have same login and pass, even when you online it displays in gw2, that’s why i thought so. I can even login at guildwars2.com and no messages are displayed, autentifications send as usual..

I also have the same issue as this, problems with the “trial account” error like everyone else, log back in and then 20 minutes later – banned for modifying or tampering with the game

my friend texted me as well, he’s trying to login to this site but he can’t.

omg, i will die without my beloved Ele….

I got the exact same message when I tried to log in for the first time after the authentication server went bogus a few hours ago. But unlike you I did indeed use software that sort of tampers the game: a GPU tweaking tool that is also capable of recording ingame videos called MSI Afterburner (and its supplementary tool Riva Tuner Statistics Server). Anyways I contacted the support, we’ll see.

Hm, Palit Thundermaster does the same… Is iit tampering the game too?

I was using combat mod at the time of my ban, but I only use it to remove the strange border around the game – no idea why we don’t have the option to turn that off in game.

I was doing a RH as guardian and nothing more when everything happened…

Well now they are saying that there was some kind of third party movement program not game client modification and its final…

Well I can tell you they can take their cheating accusations and my main account along with this one and shove them both straight up their kitten my son is only 11, he’s the only one who’s ever played the account, and I know theres never anything illegal happened on the account, he only plays when I’m o with him or even gets on the computer without me watching to protect him from all the sick kittens out there. So they can cancel both accounts what a incompetent crappy customer support. :-(
