Guild Wars 2

So my girlfriend sold her account to someone today and guess what they scammed us!
We should of knew it was coming and I know selling accounts ect is not allowed. We got the account back though and changed everything to something different, but all our items, gold have gone and the characters have been deleted. Is there anyway to get it all back?
