Ascended rings problem
All you can do is wait until you get a response. It’s not likely that posting in the forum will help you, but I hope your situation is resolved anyway.
fwiw I do think that if only one of an item can be worn at a time but there are 2 slots on the character, the item’s description really should make that clear. If “unique” is the only hint about this restriction, ArenaNet really should consider being more descriptive.
I’ve been told if you put different types of infusion in the rings then yu can equip them both. Hope that helps

It’s not slotting different infusion. It’s actually upgrading one ring to infused equipment so that it has inate +5 agony resist.
Well the situation has been resolved, I actually got circle of the moon sent to me from the support team, they were very nice to do it but they need to give a strong warning so this doesn’t happen to others.
I’m sure I’m not the only one to make this very easy to make mistake, they made an exception for me but told me they would not normally do such a thing.
Just a general rule for MMOs – if you see Unique in the description (not flavor text) either a) double check if that means anything special in that game, or b) assume it means you can only have/equip one at a time.
They do have a big warning, on the item, it says UNIQUE. Unique means you cannot have more then 1.

Not true.
In GW2 it simply means you cannot equip more than one. The game does not prevent you from carrying more than one at a time.

Thus you cannot “have” more then 1. The player above bought 2 to wear both, and was upset they weren’t informed. I pointed out that UNIQUE is listed on the item.

I have a better warning. When making a high level purchase, make sure you know and understand what you buy. If it means enough to you to be frustrated, it means you should have checked before. The description said unique. It should make you type the following: “/wiki unique”http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unique wich would bring you to this page
Would you ever buy a car without checking how much fuel it uses, how much you have to pay for maintance, and if there are any hidden defects??
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
