My account got banned for reasons i do not know.. I didnt exploit anyuthing and the banned messege is less than helpful as the reason could be any number of things I havnt done…

I was just walking to ebonhawke through divinities reach when suddenly i got hit with the Ban hammer…

Throughtout the pass day all i have been doing is personal story jump puzzles and mining…

Can all i do is open a ticket and wait ??

What’s the reason the message gives you?

“The account has been permanently banned for a violation of the User Agreement and /or Rules of Conduct”

Im 100% sure that I have not and if by some chance i have then it surly cannot be worth a Perma ban with no warning!

Yep, that’s exactly the same as my message- GaileGray suggested that I’d actually been hacked- and that the was account shut down to be on the safe side- but there’s no evidence of unauthorised logins, so I’m not sure about that one. The lack of explanation/communication is really frustrating.

if you go to “My Account” → “Security” you can see the current logins, not sure where you can see the login history since this would probably give you a good idea about if anyone else has been in your account or not.

Nope they have not.. although I have 6 pages of People from china trying to get into my account.. 6 pages./… dont think any of em got in though…. Arenanet thought it was a good idea to release there! Ha! `¬_¬

Happend to me yesterday aswell , dont know what that company is doing but it gets my patience off .
They ban people for nothing after they paid 50 E for game – then we are useless ?

They are not banning you for nothing you just admitted that you have 6 pages of logins from CHINA. I have not tried it so can’t say a failed login attempt shows in security but all I see are actual logins from me on my page. If you have actually had someone from China log in then you are compromised and you need to follow the hacked accounts post to get the account back.

You of course would also need to make sure you don’t have a key logger and change the password on your email account to be safe, as well as changing the email/password on the GW2 account (which you may have to do during the recovery process)

ACcount password has been changed and no virus etc on PC as just recieved it and have run multiple scans.. But this happened like 2 days ago… why is it only now i get banned.. account name and items gold etc didnt change so
