Banned for botting when not botting?
I guess you figured wrong… You can indeed post a message here about your problem, but only after waiting the 3 day limit so that they get the time to read the ticket.
Anyway, if they banned you, then obvious there must be something wrong with the account. Maybe you don’t see it, but some hackers got in, you followed the same pattern as a bot… there can be 100 reasons why they did this.
It is in any case not wise to blame everything on the moderators. It can have some negative effects on the case :/

If you actually read the post, I blamed it on the GM who chose to block my account. Whomever he may be, he clearly needs to learn how to do his job properly. Banning innocent players for botting when they’re actually playing which results in them having to wait days to get their accounts back is ridiculous.
I agree that going to a low level area to farm my ele’s skills up was mindless grinding.. but like.. I did not macro, I did not bot.. I used nothing but my own hands. I was actually the only player around that I noticed.
I’ve been playing like crazy lately as well.. getting hooked on it again, and now this..
First of all I would advise you to change the negative tone of your message. I know your upset and I totally understand that you are upset. You don’t know the reason however why they suspended you (well beside the general reason wich is botting). Talk to support and treat them with respect and in an un-emaotional way will prolly yield better results then calling them what you are calling them.
Support has tasked themself with a 72 hour period in wich they have to react. This is a maximum. If you haven’t heard from them by 72 hours there is something wrong and you should let them know here (in the sticky’s is a threat for that).
Most cases get resolved however within a few hours. So be patient and when they come to you be friendly and polite. If you didnt do anything wrong, all will be fine.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!

It is quite hard to not be negative when you are blocked like that without a single warning, especially when you did nothing wrong. You have to understand, as the consumer you pay for a product. That product being the service and access to the game. They are depriving me of a service that I paid for and wrongly banned me. I did nothing wrong and followed absolutely all of the rules to the zil; I am not a toxic player.. I am not a negative player.. I mostly keep to myself actually.
I am deeply annoyed by the occurrence and feel that it needs to be fixed quickly in order to even attempt to make up for their mistake.

I know is annoying to be banned when you are innocent. I got a ban for gold buying/selling, botting and whatever else the message said (I forget) so I understand your frustration. Getting reinstated took about 27 hours and I never did find out what the ban was for, although I suspect it was for trading money between 2 other guildies to get the Golden title. However, as the saying goes “Things Happen”. If you are innocent you will get your account back. The people who do the banning are human too. Mistakes happen. Stuff like this, you just have to take long view of. So you got a ban and have to sit out a day or so. It’s better than them being too lax and having bots, cheats, and gold sellers infesting the landscape.
Even though you are annoyed and want to speed things up, it actually slows things down for you to not follow the rules. Everyone who submits multiple tickets or posts on the forum before the 72 hours is up, takes up someone’s time. Time to read and deal with the complications they are adding and to not deal with the yours and others primary tickets and posts on tickets that are over 3 days old.

Sometimes I hate having to remind myself that accidents happen and the world doesn’t revolve around me. When I have my mind set on grinding I do NOT want to stop and unfortunately I was having a lot of fun with my new ELE.

Was it a second account that was banned? I was under the impression that banned accounts can’t post on the forums.

It was blocked in game.

All of this is of no value without a ticket number. I understand that you are upset, but we need the 12-digit Incident of Ticket Number to help.
More importantly, the forum is not a “submit ticket and post immediately” venue. Please allow the team time to help you! If you find you still need help after three days, feel free to post in the Tickets for Review thread, which is at the top of this Account Support sub-forum.

Yah, it’s annoying. Couldn’t log on and talk to guildies, farm or do the daily. But if you let small stuff like this bother you, it makes your life a constant state of annoyance. And truly, compared to whatever else can happen to you such as losing a job, friends or family members dying, illness. It is really small stuff. Just think of it as a vacation of sorts. :-)
