I was banned for 71 hours yesterday for having the name Chuck Effin Norris. I’ve had this name for about 4-5 months and I was just recently banned for it. I see people with “Effin”, “Frackin”, “Freakin” in their names and they have not been blocked or banned at all. I was wondering if this ban can be lifted any sooner mainly because I have never violated a ToS in any game I have played and I will be missing out on guild missions and such.

It may not just be the “Effin”, the naming policy also says you cannot reference real-life people. Unless, I suppose, your name actually IS Chuck Norris.

Sadly, it is not an excuse that others also break the rules. If that was so, then we could all get away with breaking the law, because others have done so before. You chose an inappropriate name and either it was noticed by the staff, or someone reported you. I am sure you will chose a more appropriate name once your 72-hour ban is over. Yeah, while the Effin was kind of marginal at best, the Chuck Norris is against TOS. It just took a while for someone to bother to report you.

Sorry, but I think the name change here is to protect you.

Change it to Chuck Ettin Norris….
