Bought a copy of game for wife on 8/29, we went through the account creation process via a serial purchased from best buy, never got a an account/confirmation email and the trying to reenter serial just says it is already in use. Also, it also never appeared in junk folders etc.
it’s been sitting since 8/29. Please help.

If you used a hotmail account there was a known problem with hotmail blacklisting Anet so you wouldn’t of even gotten the confirmation email. Try, and I have no idea if this will work, to log in here with the account name/password you were trying to create. If it lets you change the email/username to a different email if you have access to one and see if it then sends the mail and allows the account to work to log in to the game.

Good idea, we did try logging in with the account we thought we had created after waiting for a while and seeing no email – but nothing would let us in and it actually says the email is not valid. And yes, it was actually a hotmail email

Only thing I can suggest is either to wait it out then or submit a second ticket following the hacked account prioritizing steps because they claim they are prioritizing hacked accounts and other account login blocking issues and this is certainly an account login blocking issue.

Totally sucks. We all love the game which is the worst part. They did SO many things well and then all their hard work goes right down the drain because the fall on their face with security first and customer service second.

Thanks but that’s literally all we have, as the account was never fully created, and never got any type of email with any info. We cant re-enter the CD key either, it says its already in use.

Hey man I had a similar issue I bought mine through gamestop digital download and it turns out they accidentally gave me a CD key they already had in their database and not a new one. I had to call Gamestop and they gave me a new key…
If you bought it through a 3rd party make sure you got the right CD key from them.
