Guild Wars 2

Just as the titles says, the guild has a guild stash, armourer, weaponsmith, and so on. But according to my guild screen it says the guild has no upgrades. My friend plays the game on a tv right beside mine so I know the guild has these upgrades, and that the influence is completely different from mine. There is also a record of me depositing/withdrawing from the stash before this started to happen? Has anyone seen this issue before? Or know of a solution?

Are you based in the same server as your friend? If your home server is different then the banks are different at they are tied to each server.

So because I am on a different server I can’t access the bank, or any other upgrades, or even see the upgrades, or even see the correct influence? My influence says under 300, my friends is almost 10,000.

Yah. Each bank is tied to a server. So your version is tied to yours and his to his. Any influence goes only to the that home servers bank and of course the upgrades also.

If you move (not guest) to his server you will lose what you made with your version and gain his. Also if you move to another server you will lose everything in bank storage unless you take it out first. Items have to move with you in your inventory or your regular bank.

Why bother letting guilds go across servers then? I get this empty husk of a guild and can’t get any of the things my friends can unless I get the influence myself. I understand not being able to WvW if I’m on a different server, but this is just unacceptable.

I assume you aren’t actually asking why let guild members cross servers but why don’t guild banks cross servers. My theory, it must be because unlike regular banks, which are tied to your account and can be accessed on any server, the guild banks are not attached to any one account. The guild leader or whoever starts the guild bank doesn’t own it. Since it’s not attached to an account, but to a server, it can’t move with you when you cross servers. It must be the attachment to particular servers that only allows influence to stay in each home server.

If you want to discuss this in detail, you might make a thread in the Discussion Forum where people far more knowledgeable than me can weigh in on it.

I am currently encountering this problem.
My guild is not displaying it’s tag, the people in it, the upgrades, nothing.

Which kinda sucks because there’s a lot of stuff in that guild bank

I believe you are referring to a different issue than what this thread is about. There seems to be a bug with guilds currently in-game; I am sure the Devs will address it as soon as possible.
