I’ve bought gems quite a few times already, without any problems, i did it every time i needed some golds urgently.
Today was one of those days, i was walking around with only 8g and i needed few more to buy some materials to lvl my armorsmith to 500 but sadly it failed saying that it was my bank (the same that allowed me to buy all those gems before) that was refusing my purchase… It is BS.
Anyway, I’ve tried 6 times just to be sure it wasn’t lag or something, 3 times b4 going to sleep and 3 times a few minutes b4 this post, got the same error every time.
By the way, it is a debit card, not a credit card, my bank will never refuse any purchase as long my account has money in it.
I guess anet doesn’t want me to support the game by spending my money on gems anymore… back to the frostgorge champ farm…
Some ppl say that anet changed provider very recently, maybe this new provider is the problem.

Did you try contacting Support at the address given in the error message? Perhaps, they can help you with your issue. Though, I’m not sure why it sends you to a Tera site. =/

I’ve noticed that too, http://www.enmasse.com/ only has one game and that’s tera.
Is like they copypasted the error message from tera?
Anyway, anet is the one losing money, they should fix it, not me, i just have a nuisance of having to farm instead of buying gems to get golds.

I can’t purchase gems either. I have seen the notice about the new billing platform that was installed on 12-8-13 and that is about the time my problems started. I do my purchasing through paypal and i have tried several times since then and all attempts have failed. (1) each time i logged into paypal i was sent to either of two different billing windows one Paypal the other Digital river. (2) After i clicked the pay now button they both had the same result it switched to a Fatfoogoo web address and a blank screen and froze. They still may be in the process of installing the new system but i have not heard anything yet. Thanks

Update: the error message is a mystery to us, but it has been corrected, according to reports from the team involved with such things.

I recently bought $50 in Gems, and it went through fine. When I see the OP’s picture, he didn’t select an option for payment, which is probably why the new system didn’t work. Debit cards are used exactly like credit cards, as they’ll either have Visa or MasterCard on it. All you need to do is select the creditcard option, and it’ll work.
i use PayPal and not for the first time, so far i never had problems. now when i want to pay, this happens (like described before):
“After i clicked the pay now button they both had the same result it switched to a Fatfoogoo web address and a blank screen and froze.”
I currently have this message when trying to purchase Gems:
“We are sorry. We are currently encountering a problem with our payment partner. Please try again later”
Not sure if they could be related to the above messages in some way.

oh well, after coming back from dinner i noticed, the Transaction still worked, even if the mail took some time and gems werent there before, but now all Looks ok.

Thank you for updating. It’s helpful to know that things did sort out, even if they took longer than expected. (This avoids me pinging devs about an issue that appears to be resolved now. So thanks again for posting!)
