I have not been able to log in since this past Thursday. Every time I open a ticket I get an automated email asking for my serial number(which I lost). I took a chance and was able to speak with someone at NCSOFT. She was very helpful and mentioned she would escalate the ticket with the questions answered. That was this morning and NO ONE FROM GW2 HAS RESPONDED AT ALL!!! Is this the customer support we get because we do not pay a monthly fee!?!?!
I refuse to purchase, download and update the same game when I have already purchased it!!! Come on GW2 support let’s get with the customer support!!!! A lot of good games have gone under because of this!!!

Do you work on Saturdays? Most people don’t especially not in customer service.

If you don’t have access to your serial number there can be quite a big issue to solve the problems you might be having, since it might be hard for you to prove that you are the actual owner of the account.

Wait a few days (I would say Tuesday or Wednesday) for support to respond.

Should of been more specific. My call and conversation to NCSOFT was answered today, so yes lordkrall some people do work on Saturdays.

I am fully aware of that, but in most cases customer services don’t. So all you can do is simply wait.

If your issue has not been resolved after 72 hours, please post your ticket number in the sticky for ‘Tickets 3 Days and Older’. Good luck. =)

It’s only been a few hours since you spoke to her. It took me 24 hours to get my first email back on an account issue. I think that’s close to standard, especially on a weekend when they are likely to have no or reduced staff.

I just had the same problem and fixed it by going in the game folder, going to properties of GW2.exe and checking the “Run this as the administrator”. Now I can log-in again. Strange.
