Guild Wars 2

Hey, I was doing a vista in the bandits cave (in Queensdale) and my character disconnected. After it disconnected I was unable to log back onto the character, as it kept freezing on the loading Queensdale page. But i am able to log onto other characters just not this one, please help!

Have you tried logging/moving other character into Queensdale?

I know this is old but i`m having the same problem right now and nothing works.
I was doing megadestroyer and disconnected before getting the chest. Now i`m unable to login with that character. I have another lvl 40 character and i was ale to go to the exact spot where my lvl 80 one was and still not working. Please help me.

Same problem at Mount Maelstrom

I have the same problem now. I played in location “Mount Maelstrom”, my client was freezed, and after that i cannot logging in with my character. All another characters working fine.

I think it’s the one of the megaservers IP that went down or something, cause it happened to me aswell in mount maelstrom, and tried going there with another character and it happened aswell. Asked friend to log in and check, and he got stuck on loading screen aswell.

Also tried to delete temp files and still nothing … My lvl 40 character is still working

The problem is only one – Release of new content – every time an update is coming this happens to the game. Why? more likely because they are pushing the new files into the live servers and then you see all kind of wired issues, infinite loading times on maps, lag on skills (lag in general), issues logging in … it does not happens to everyone, but there are always people that gets affected.

As an experience release engineer i can assume this is related with mismatch between the new files on the server and the files on our client.

would be great if a Dev can clarify this for us as well.

Hi there, got exactly same problem. I ported to Mount Maelstrom and stucked on loading screen… i moved my other character there and same thing. Only my lvl46 alt left to play As Cashcate.6579 said, -repair doesnt worked for me neither guesting server. Heeelp!

It worked for me with Vizunah guesting
