Guild Wars 2

Hello Everybody. I been having a hard time figuring how to change my guild name. I Wrote 4 Support tickets to have my guild name change and no Answers. If theres is a way for a MOD to help me do this it would be fantastic. I know there is a way to change a guild name b/c it’s a common idea. It would be Great to settle this problem Quickly.

The only way known to change a Guild name, at this time, is to start a new Guild. Start everything from scratch. Also, writing multiple tickets for one subject slows the process down, so that’s frowned upon.

There is currently a guild on my server with name that could be seen as offensive for some (I’m not in it). In the future, I am sure they will be reported for it.
If that happens, the guild gets terminated, and they have to start a new one from scratch.
And yeah, I know they should have chose a more appropriate name to begin with, but losing a whole guild could easily cause many players to just leave the game (as their combined efforts have gone to waste).

Tl;dr: I do hope that guild name change will be implemented soon.

Oh! Well, that’s good to know that there is Guild name changes now. Make a lot of people less distressed. =)

if you look some lines above, there you can read:

We do not offer a guild-name change service at this time. I have suggested that — like character name changes — this may be something we offer through the Gem Store in the future. However, I do not know whether that will be added or not and again, this is not a service that we offer through Support.

We will rename an offensively-named guild. Except in extreme cases, they are not disbanded these days.

That’s great to hear! I have not seen the guys mentioned above, maybe they have already force-changed it. I am relieved.
