I submitted a ticket an hour after the release of GW2 because I deleted my character (changed from human to norn) and I lost the Mini Rytlock and some other Digital Deluxe edition items. The only thing we can do is; wait. Spamming the forums isn’t going to get your items any sooner.
Anet have fixed most bugs accordingly and I’m sure they’ll fix this too.
I deleted my bank golum on 1 char
I didn’t actually know it was a permanent delete I thought you could get this back would I have to put a ticket in to get the banker item back again?

The Golum Banker is on all new characters you create and it’s only for 4 days anyways. It would be a waste of time putting in a ticket.
So like many here, i did the same thing i delete a character that had all my Digital digital deluxe, soon as i realize that i wasnt able to get those items on any other character, i put in a ticket. i havent heard a update or am i sure my ticket was properly summited, I dont want to summit another ticket as i was told that just slows things down but i would like to recevied aknowledgement of my orginal tickect.

I went through all my characters just to find out I had deleted the first one I made as well along with the items.. When will we get the items back?

yea i did the same thing and it was when the game first came out and it didnt say it are we able to get them back??
I created my character immediately (during 3-day headstart right when the servers came online) to save the name and then deleted shortly after that to create my character the way I wanted. I didn’t even start the game with my character so I didn’t look at my mail.
UPDATE: I was going to re-do some of my other characters last night since I knew what I wanted them to be but I decided to check and see if any of them had important mail before I deleted. It was the first character I logged into last night, but it had a mail including the mini Rytlock, tome and chalice. I know it didn’t have that before because I had checked all of my characters for my digital items when I realized it was missing. So maybe anet is now putting them on the first character you log into? Everyone might want to check their mail =) Thank you anet for fixing it!

Hey i dont know if you guys are fixing the issue by forum Post but i have submitted a ticket and i am awaiting a response i deleted my character the first day of 3 day per launch and i lost my rytlock i really hope Anet can fix this since the mini pet is a main reason i bought collectors edition along with other reasons. well hope it gets fixed soon would love to have my rytlock exploring the world with me again.

In the same boat as some of you ticket 120903-000666 . Got all the items but the tome of influence didn’t do jack when I used it , other than some pretty special effects. No Mistfire wolf elite skill either. The Option is just greyed out with no ability to train or select it in my skills window.
Support ignored me for over a week and closed my ticket on the 9th day so I went ahead and Escalated my dispute to a claim against NC soft / Arenanet for the funds spent for the gems back.
Maybe someone will acknowledge the problem before the claim is settled and I can cancel the dispute.
I made the same mistake. I re rolled my character on the first day of pre launch, and ended up deleting my Tome, Rytlock, and Chalice.
I made the re-roll mistake within the first 5 minutes the game came out. don’t have the Rytlock, tome of influence, and glory.

BEFORE The notice on the ingame mail was put.
Today, I got a email saying my ticket was closed, with out a single response!
I reopened following the link.
Since there are people that got the item restored, its not a matter of can or can’t do..
But WHEN can you do it?
Give me a date, a week? a month, next year?

Arena Net, you’re doing great on support. I know there are bigger things than minipets and DD consumables. I’m glad this thread is here in the first place so we can post to let you know we’re here. I’m patient for the items if that ends up being what happens. I don’t mind it taking longer.
Hey guys, if you’re getting auto-gen support responses, it’s okay. I’ve worked in MMO support before so expect things to get prioritized. Anet’s is actually doing pretty well considering their volume. I had a ticket on this. I got a ’we’ll get this as soon as we can when a fix is made’ and then it perma-closed. Two weeks afterward, I made a new ticket to make the issue active again, but got an auto response on that too. I don’t want to spam their support, but at least from the guidelines they set, it would be good to have a ticket open (updated) if the issue hasn’t been resolved. Worst thing is to make multiple tickets or constantly updating one. It likely puts you in the back of the line.

I’m not really sure what’s going on here, it looks to me like people started posting that they’re missing some of their collector’s items in this thread, I am as well…I don’t know if it’s it’s getting resolved here or not. I can get my hero’s band and Goblin banker, and although i’m not level 30 yet it looks like my mistfire wolf skill is available, however I did not delte my mail on my primary character, which I still have, but the mini rytlock and other consumables are not their anymore. I opened a ticket the second day of release in game…I don’t really want to bother A.Net with another ticket, should I just leave open my first one and just wait for it to get resolved in order, or is this going to be like…a one big KABAM fixed in a patch or something for everyone that’s experiencing similar issues?
I’m also having the same problem, I got everything but the Mistfire Wolf Skill. If there is a solution please let me know, Thanks!

same issue. i made my character, played it for 2 seconds and then realized i wanted to change the name slightly. the items were never even opened and i would like to have them applied to my character
Can we find out a tentative date on when the majority of people who sent in tickets for this issue will receive them back? I sent my in Aug 25 and still nothing concrete. Thanks.

Same thing happened here, deleted original character to start fresh. Seriously, guys, you can’t do this like EVERY OTHER MMO out there and just issue CE items to every new character?

I transferred worlds last night after 1 day and all my goodies are gone! There was no prompting or anyting… how can i get them back?
Of course I am sure that the problem with Deluxe items will be solve.
I just want to tell that I dont need one-time use items.
Like most of us all that I want is to get “Miniature Rytlock” back .

I’d just like to throw my hat in the ring about the Mistfire Wolf not appearing. I upgraded to Digital Deluxe via the Gem Store and I can see the grayed out Mistfire Wolf Skill but cannot use it etc. I’m level 34 with 2 Elite Skills that I can use fine.
Please fix this (or at least update us) Areanet, this is very annoying especially as this was the one of things that made me spend my hard earned cash.

Hi I am in the same boat as well, some of my collectors were destroyed on Aug 25th due to confusion with these systems.
Destroyed CE items due to headstart bugs on the 25th. Chalice and tome restoration request.

As you can see I opened 2 tickets, the first one had a response stating “please wait until the forums open.”
The second was closed with no response.
I have had several tickets closed with no response. Someone is just going in and deleting support tickets after sending me an auto-response. I have been getting responses “to check my internet connection” regarding this issue.
Should I open more tickets? Will they just be closed again? I’m not sure what to do at this point.
If I could get an email from a support specialist regarding future steps to take regarding this issue, that would be great. I don’t want to open more tickets if they are just going to be closed with no response and hog up the queues.
While I don’t mind waiting on a response, having tickets auto-closed without responses is irking me.

I also deleted my first character with the mini pet: Rytlock Brimstone still in the inventory (allthough I thought I stashed it in the bank)
Please help me to retrieve Rytlock from the void.

Same issue with 1st character deleted and lost the minipet and Tome of Influence.
I only deleted because the human tutorial end boss got stuck and there wasn’t a cut scene, so I thought if I remade it would load.

Also it might not hurt to look at the quality of support that is coming out here in general. The restoration of deleted account locked items is a GM addressable issue in game in 15 mins. There is no reason to over engineer, and over complicate the solution.

Guys, they’ve already let the community know that they are aware (even mentioning its happened to some of their own accounts/characters!) and that they are working on a solution.
That solution, will more than likely be a way of getting the items to a wide playerbase via some kind of vendor etc.
Not to be cheeky, but its easy enough to see that this has happened to thousands of people…do you really believe they have the time or resources to go through individual accounts (whether they raised 1 or 23 tickets) and apply the items. Does that sound like a valuable use of a company’s time mere weeks after releasing the biggest MMO/Game of the year?

You’ve said it yourself there m8. Sorting and replying to several tickets from one account, then to rollback, access a backup tape etc for one account is a SERIOUS over complication…all for one item for one account?
Think about it logically, theres bugs out there that are effecting 50%, 75%, 100% etc of the playerbase. How much do you think as a whole, this “problem” effects the guildwars2 playerbase?
To be frank, the people who are raising several tickets about this then coming here to complain, well i think thats both disrespectful and a tad bit selfish.

Would be nice if someone from ArenaNet would simply provide an update on what’s happening regarding the CE/DDE digital items! Even a basic “We haven’t forgotten and are still working on a solution” would be better than silence! My ticket from the 25th August is still open, last response from the GW2 Support was on 29th August, that’s over 2 weeks of silence and almost 3 weeks since I opened the ticket!
When will we get some love from Anet if it’s possible to help us in our issues? Would help everyone to see you are on top of it.

I purchased the Digital Deluxe upgrade more for the Mistfire Wolf than the other items. It is not available on my main character and from what I see, it is a kown issue under investigation? Why is it being sold? this was not forewarned. How do I request a refund or do I simply dispute the charge?
so whats going on with this? there hasnt been anything done, wouldnt it just be a simple remail of the items that were deleted? I dont understand how this is taking as long as it has, i created my ticket back in august still during headstart .. this is already pretty ridiculous on how much most of us has had to wait for an item that shouldnt even have been a one time gift instead it should be a gift mailed to a new character created, kind ofkitten that we paid 80+ for digi deluxe or those who paid over 120 for their physical collectors for us to only be given a a mini rytlock once ever through the life of our account.

Seriously, this is idiotic, they added a big red text to those mails nearly 2,5 weeks after launch (headstart included).
If i had that warning back then, i’d never lose my whole DD item set.
This warning is basically acknowledgement from Anet that there was serious miscommunication, because for christs sake, every other mmo has their collectors edition pets PERMANENT and re-sent to each character, so this was something completely unexpected, and frankly, ridiculous.
20$ isn’t money to bekittenon in the gaming scene, so that makes it even more absurd.
I really don’t give akittenabout the kitteny mistfire wolf, it’s on a insane cooldown for its duration and low health, and very weak. I just want the rytlock…

I’ve sent a ticket on 25 and I still got no reply, my ticket was closed 120825-005264. My second one was ignored 120907-008203 and my third was closed without any response 120910-004074. I know you guys got lots of things on your hands but at least a REPLY, not an automated one, would be nice. We’ve been left blind since the problem happened, we were not informed the Mini Rytlock was unique per character and I deleted my first toon since I was not satisfied how he looked like. Please, ALL we ask you and the support team is a honest answer if this is being looked upon, the karma exploiters are getting more attention than honest people that just want a answer.
Seven days ago I have recieved this:
“We’re writing to you today in response to your support ticket asking for help with Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition in-game items.
These in-game items are consumable, and are provided to your account using the in-game mail system. You can leave them in the in-game mail for as long as you want. Once you take them out of the in-game mail into a character’s inventory, be sure not to delete the character with those items in their inventory.
We’re going to replace these items on your account by sending another copy of them in another in-game mail. But there are a couple of things you should know:
•Each item can only be used once per account. If you already used the first copy of the item you received, the new copy you receive will not be functional.
•We can trigger a second distribution of items just one time per account. So when you are deleting characters in the future, take care to move your special items to your storage so that you do not delete the one-time items.
Thanks for your patience as we worked out the resolution to these issues, and thanks as well for your support of Guild Wars 2!

Yep same i made a new post describing the same thing, But one thing i know for sure is. I never deleted any character i made. All i got was the Hero’s Band from the headstart. no Digital Deluxe Edition which i bought from their website.

I’m not sure if there is a time frame on closed tickets, but mine was opened early morning the 25th and was closed I think around the 29th or so of aug. I put in an update on that original ticket hoping it would post and it did. Saves time with support not being bogged by bundles of duplicates. But, I’m still waiting for a response again.

A thread with a few posts has Gaile saying “Please submit a ticket. We’ve done one distribution of items, and you may be included in a future distribution. Only Support can tell for sure.” Yet there has been nothing posted on this main thread?? I submitted my ticket on day 2 on head start and still have not received my items. Arenanet,If you fail to give me what I paid for I will be filing a dispute with my CC company.

Sigh.. bad customer service is bad.. seriously how difficult could it be to resubmit these items? Does this company not have a bank of what activation codes are tied to DDE/CE versions of the game? Pull that database, resubmit the items to the accounts associated to those codes. There has to be SOMETHING to this effect on their end. Pick up the phone, dial some other companies that have a clue what they are doing, take notes, and employ your newfound knowledge.

I am sorry but this is just getting pathetic, we are not cry babies asking for something that isn’t ours. We paid real money for items in a game that we either didn’t receive at all or we deleted our initial character and lost. Why, because there was no warning that we would lose them none at all. There are a lot of us from the three day headstart that still haven’t gotten any help what so ever. I want to know why that is? We are three weeks from the 25th of August when most of us submitted our first support ticket. We obviously love the game you guys created or we wouldn’t be here. We just want the items we paid for, that’s it.
