It’s like 1 hour i’m trying to log into the game, i’ve received the confirmation email only once in this hour, and when i tried to use the link, he told me “Bad Request”. Any way i can resolve all this and log in?

Edit. Just received the second email, with the time of 1 hour ago, so it’s one of the first attempt i’ve done that arrive only now

Can you tell me the time stamp on that email, and time zone? I’m trying to determine if there is an issue on the part of our e-mail provider.

i had authentication problems as others had with email and

i saw TX. US ( an ip that i dont want name it ) location in security tab > Current Logins in my account and i removed it because i am playing from europe …..

it is you or there is a problem with my account security?

I’m guessing you’re using gmail (what I use also, and it’s awesome.)

Had one email today that didn’t arrive until 3 hours after it was sent to me.

prolly not. the TX.US login is likely your presence here on the forum. It is a known glitch. The forum account is the same as your game account, so the forum checks you on the login server and that is showing there (and the forum server is in Texas). Off course Texas is big so you can never be 100% sure.

we had the same problem ,i could remove the Email authentication(in January), but i cant remember how. But now my friend have the same problem, and i cant help him remove it :S
when i asked the guild, they ask back couse they have the same problem and many of them want to remove the email athentication.

I’m going to add to this (now that I finally managed to log in to the forums…) I’ve been having this same problem since last thursday. I opened a ticket with support but several hours later the problem seemed to resolve itself (that is, the authentication email had been taking several hours to show up but suddenly reverted back to normal) So I emailed them that it was resolved. However, it happened again today for several hours.

On top of that, since last night I seem to be having a problem staying connected. I get disconnected back to the character selection screen every 3-20 or so minutes with a message about not being able to connect to the servers. This makes it impossible to do sab, or dungeons, or world events, or.. anything really. It’s just about making me quit gw since I can’t do anything, and I realize I’m only one customer but I’ve been a loyal customer since gw1 and I spend at least $30 a month on gems. If this is a problem on your end, please fix it because I don’t want to be forced to stop playing.

i tested by login first in game and then in forums and nothing wrong with ip . it is the same from my location .

i hope it is a bug that appears under specific conditions and not any hack , because i will disappointed if my account hacked for the first time in my 20 years Internet experience .

update : i just read this post https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/My-recent-connections/first#post2840473 where name the ip . was the same . so glitch ! thank you for the useful infos !
