Digital Game Purcahse Problem
I can confirm that I did NOT misspell the email address. Thank you form auto-fill feature. So we made the purchase and have received no email response with serial number or confirmation. I do have the printed out invoice from Anet.
You can contact CS without an account. Just fill in the information you have, and leave the other fields blank, as instructed. Make sure to choose an option from both drop-down menus, though.

Edit: Make sure to check Spam, Junk, etc. folders, as well.

Ugh, we finally got an email and there’s a button to register the account which we hit and it takes you to a page that asks for a serial number that the email did not contain. This is a really frustrating process.
I am sure once you contact CS, they will be happy to assist you.

We have a request in. I’m already in Tyria just trying to get my son in too but this is keeping me form playing. Boo!
UPDATE: We finally received an email with the code. Not sure if it was just slow process or if someone from support pulled some strings to get it to us.
I did do some further research while waiting and found an old thread where it took someone about an hour to get their code. Perhaps Anet should have a warning in the digital purchase system that there could be a delay in receiving your code.

I think your suggestion is good. Letting folks know that there is the possibility of a delay in getting the transmittal e-mail is a good idea, and I’ll see if we can add that in the future.
