I just went to Target today and bought a 2,000 gem card ($25). As soon as I get home, I log in, go the gem store, click “redeem code”, type in the code, and this appeared. I did however receive the 2,000 gems, but I was wondering why it said I only got 20?

A bug of some sort. Since you got what you paid for you can report it as a bug ingame.

There are other reports of this happening. I saw a screen that showed 18.8 Gems when they received 1,880. Someone forgot to move a decimal point somewhere.

Wait, you got the 2000 but the display dialog was wrong?…..maybe you should change the title of this thread (as it implies you did NOT get your 2000 gems….when you did).

No doubt this needs to be fixed and reporting it is the right thing to do, but the title of this thread is misleading.

We are aware of the situation where a player purchases XX gems but the display shows that he/she is getting only X gems. Fortunately, in all the cases the team has investigated, the player is getting the proper number of gems, but the display is wrong and the team is working on it.

If you have experienced this issue, and particularly if you happen to have a screenshot of it, please post here, so the team involved in Gem Store development can see the details.

We’d like to know:

  • Date of purchase
  • Display Name on Account
  • What the display said you were receiving
  • What you received (and the assumption here is that you got the proper amount, otherwise you should submit an individual ticket)

Hi,

Further to this topic and my thread which was linked, I today bought a £10 GBP Gem Card, and got it displayed as 900 Gems instead of 940. Again, no alarm since I got the full amount. Last time was a £20 GBP card for 1880, but only displayed 18.8 – so the amount is getting closer this time
