E-Mail Verification Not Sending
Hi and Welcome,
There was one other person here earlier today complaining he didnt get the email. You could make a support ticket https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ (ask a question). Thats the place to gather these kind of complaints and off course give you a personal fix.
You might be interested in the alternative mobile authenitcator (for Iphone, Android or windows mobile phones). Instead of an email, every time you log in you have to use a special app on your phone to authenticate yourself. This is safer and replaces the need for this ip check email.
You can find this at my account on the top right corner of this window and then security :P

My internet is really odd, every time it disconnects I get given a new IP, so every time I relog into the game after it crashing I have to allow another IP. I have had 20+ of these confirmation emails. I tried to log on today and I got the message saying ‘email sent’ so my password hasn’t changed. I waited for 1 hour+ and still no reply. I logged in to my account and managed to click ‘disable email verification’ and I get an error. I looked at my allowed IP’s they all matched the IP’s that I had allowed through hotmail. But there was another one and under ‘IP’ it said ‘5.0.0.1-5.225.225.225’ whichs means that every IP is allowed, wtf?
Is the E-Mail system broke or is it my account? I only got this game a week or so ago and I love it, but this has took a proverbial dump on my night.
Did you check your Junk/Spam folder? I know you got other emails, but maybe this one was misdirected for some reason.
In the meantime, I would really appreciate if you would file a support ticket through the “Ask a Question” button on the Support page (linked at the top of this page). I want the team to look at things and see what’s up.
In a general sense, I will check into this, too. Thanks for the report.

I have the same problem, since 2 months or so I get all the supprot mails (about this issue) but never (since this point, before there was never a problem) got any of the mails to verify my IP. Always had to restart my router till I got an IP that was authorized before.
My provider is gmx. The only help iI could get from support was to turn off the verification ( I´m not happy with that solution) or to change my email (where all other mail – e.g. from the support – arrives ^^)
For sure I checked my spam/junk folder and my blacklist ….
Support said it is not on your end … but I´m not the only one like I can see …

Wait, when you got these mails you had normal access to the game, but now it is a bit later you have trouble getting??
So not the other way around?? You don’t have trouble getting into the game cause the verification emails are not getting through??
If the first is true, you had no problem untill you recieved such an email out of nothing?? then please go to my account here a.s.a.p. and change your password. if having trouble make a support ticket. I suspect you might be hacked then.

I just want to know, if there are any updates about the verification mail?

As Support told you, the issues doesn’t appear to be on our end. There are a few elements that may be involved, most principally your email provider, so since we know the Auth emails are indeed being sent, you need to investigate from the receiver viewpoint.

Ok, thanks for this answer. the part I don´t understand (and german support couldn´t answer this too) is why all the mails from the support can reach me, and before around 2 months ago I also got the verification mails. And now just the verification mails don´t arrive, not in spam, not in junk (double and tripple-checked this, Anet and ncsoft domains are on whitelist).
And my son, (same provider, same IP ) gets the verification mails.

Like Gaile said, they can’t explain it cause it is not at their end. The fact that your son doesnt have these issues actually shows that.

I think I might know what happen since I had this before, if you got fake emails from anet before you might have decided to block noreply@guildwars2.com thinking it was fake, problem is that mail is real, some how the phishers manage to use only noreply@guildwars2.com on their mail id source, so your better option is to check if you blocked this email by mistake thinking it was a fake mail.
