Well, he did that. So now it’s waiting for what CS says?
I myself have no problems with this, but it’s waiting on that then?
Because he entered a different email, since the original one isn’t useable obviously.

Yes, your friend must wait for CS to respond to his ticket sent on the new email address.

There should be an almost immediate automatic response that says something like ‘Thank you for contacting us…’. If your friend has heard nothing after 72 hours, he/she can post the ticket number in the Sticky above for ticket reviews.

NOT getting this automated response, usually indicates some sort of communication issue with Anet Support and your email provider. The emails may be in your spam / junk folder or they may be being blocked by your mail provider for some other reason. There is a link on the front page detailing these possible issues:
