Why have I not received mail with this?

Did you clean out your mail? If you have a backlog of 10 or more, you won’t receive more mail.

I’ve cleared out my mail and haven’t received it or the SAB continue tokens.

I had this same issue at first, then I realized that both Moto’s coins and the luck boosters get put into the personal mail bag of the first character you logged into after the patch; not your account-wide mailbag. I hopped on my thief for a moment and then switched to another character, then started wondering where my stuff was. I popped back in the thief and they were both there.

Is it possible to retrieve the said mails if the character that was used during the first login is deleted?

Honestly, I had no idea that this time the mail was soulbound.
I logged in to experiment on my new character, read through the mails and decided to collect the items on my main character later, as I always do (in case there would be soulbound items).. than after some experiments, I deleted the new char since I wanted to change the profession.. and today I realised that the mails are lost..

It would be in the mailbox of the first character you logged in with after the update.
Did you open a support ticket?
Is there a reason it took you over a month to notice?

Because the amount of luck essences needed to increase by 1% increases for each level, if you found it now and you have been getting essences all this time! you wont go up by 20%. If your level is very high at all, you won’t go up by even 1%.

20 levels on this chart is 2460 luck. You can look at what level you are now to see how much further it would get you. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Luck

I had this happen when the mails first went out. I opened a ticket and they sent me another mail. There is an “issue” with what quote that was in the update announcement. What was actually sent out was the amount of Luck needed to raise anyone from 0% to 20%…..not to INCREASE Luck by 20%. I don’t recall the actual value they sent me but I was certainly over 20% when I used it, so I technically got what the update specified.

I’m guessing that this long after the mails were sent out, you are going to have to put up quite a stink with Support to get them to review some records and PROVE you didn’t get the mail that had the free Luck in it.

Yeah, I give up. I gave a big stink about it and the fact that I haven’t been on GW since the summer time (because I’m a student) which is why I didn’t notice until now.

If you’re right Grimm, my luck is 12% right now due to my own essence of luck collection, so it wouldn’t make a big difference now I guess. If they were to give me the 2460 luck like Astral said, I would be at 28% magic find, so there’s that.

Still sucks, and not very supportive of those players that don’t play very often. I feel penalized for not being a heavy enough player.
