Missleading title since I got one of my question answered, thanks to nculpatus cedo.9234!

Got my HoM question related answered. Still waiting for an answer for this:
“I am not asking for anyone to get banned, I am just asking/questioning whenever it is fair to treat people different. ". And is it ban-able liking someones Facebook in game ( Keep in mind you share Facebooks’ data not his personal data ).

From the KB:

If my Guild Wars account has been terminated, can I still use my Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2?

No. Once an account has been terminated it cannot be accessed again. This includes the ability to link that account to a Guild Wars 2 account. If a Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2 account is terminated, we cannot unlink the terminated account to allow a new account to be linked.

If your Guild Wars (One) Account has been terminated, you can not access your Hall of Monuments rewards.

That was really long, and all I got from it was you were scammed, but you fell for it, since you gave the person money. Technically, he asked for money and you gave it, so it’s not really a scam. Shady yes, scam no. You weren’t promised anything in return for a “trade”.

To the ban, no idea what you were talking about so I’m assuming it’s not because you looked someone up online. I’m just really confused on this whole post.

Same. The poor grammar the OP apologized for is really hindering anyone’s attempts to figure out what the real problem is.

Sounds like you’re upset about your ban and you feel others should be banned for some reason or another, OP.

As with the two above me, I don’t quite understand the story, but from what I can tell you’ve not given any specifics so those events could all be unrelated as far as we know.

Thanks for this, that’s all I needed to know :-).

Sorry for the confusing story, after reading it myself, I am not quite sure what I meant either ( or at least it is quite obvious the story is confusing, my apologizes) . Here is a tl;dr of it; the scammer stole an account from a friend of mine , and then claimed that he needed money from that account, for something really important. Since I thought this was my friend, I gave the money without a doubt.

This just confirms the confusion the other guys are having as well, sorry. I am not asking for anyone to get banned, I am just asking/questioning whenever it is fair to treat people different. The guy who reported me is a well known scammer and hacker. (“We Are Six Inches Enchanted used third party hacks to modify their attributes during the June 2014 mAT, thereby gaining an unfair advantage over their opponents by abusing the Flux effect (Jack of All Trades). ArenaNet removed their gold trim on 26 June 2014 as a result of their investigation (source).”) Yet he is still playing. Some of my friends has been breaking other rules, got perma’d, but got unbanned for no reason. (http://i.imgur.com/ymR4Rek.png)

Because situations are different.

Bans rarely take place right at the instant the rule breaking occurs. I would imagine it would only happen in very extreme cases and you’d know why if it occurred. So the timing of your ban was probably just coincidence. The forums really aren’t the place to discuss bans or support decisions on whether or not a ban was justified or not or why one person was banned but not another.

I am glad you got the info you needed on the one question.

About the other matter: The second matter involves several players and is quite detailed, and my instinct tell me that there’s nothing we could do in a case of this nature. However, you’re welcome to discuss through a ticket, so that a CS agent can review game logs and figure out if it is possible to help.
