First Time Offence - 2 Week Ban ?
I may be wrong but I think in some cases where the violation may have been excessive they can deal out longer suspensions. According to this page there is no statement as to the length of first offense:
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-conduct-breaches-outcomes/
So I am guessing that maybe you went way over the top with whatever you said.
IDK =/ I did wonder this and I regret what I said so you may be right, and also there is nothing there about first offences but it has been repeated by mods / devs repeatedly over the forums. As I said, I agree I was out of line but 2 weeks still seems excessive, not even heard of someone getting a 2 week suspension before it happened to me.

I follow this forum a bit and I think I have seen people get a longer 1st time suspension based on what they did.
Either way, Gaile usually does updates here weekdays and will often elaborate on why a suspension was what it was without quoting the actual offense of course. So I’m sure you will find out then.
If 3 days have passed since you submitted a ticket and you haven’t heard a response, you can post your ticket number in the 3-day stickied thread. ArenaNet / Gaile doesn’t want people to create a ticket and then immediately post here in the forum hoping to speed the process up as that doesn’t work.
In any case, if what you said really was severe enough to warrant a 2-week suspension, I suspect that doing the same thing again could result in a permanent ban. Might wanna just put the person on ignore next time to avoid all of this.

It wasn’t to ‘speed it up’. I tried sending a support ticket in but it wouldn’t complete and just wouldn’t send. I will be trying again but just did this in the mean time since I couldn’t get the ticket system to work last night.

I don’t know why you would have been suspended for two weeks. The general suspension is 3 days, but no warning is given, as per the Conduct Breaches and Outcomes document. Most importantly, though, I note that this has been resolved and you logged into the game today, so I assume all is well.
You know, the game logs do show a few rude comments, as you honestly mentioned. We all know that there could be a rare “slip of the tongue” and I’m figuring you’re not at all likely to do that again, so thanks for the self-awareness.

Yes thank you, I got the ticket system working (Possibly an internet issue at my end) and by the next morning the suspension was lifted which I am grateful for, and yes as you say it was the heat of an argument that should have been kept out of game, in rage I made a bad choice and regretted it instantly >.< It shall not happen again.
Thank you for also responding, and also thank you to the support team for dealing with the situation so swiftly =D I have seen them getting a lot of bad comments and alot of strictness towards players but they have my respect for how this was dealt with.
