Really? A little bit of cursing here and there is a 72 hour ban? Seems a little overly harsh. From what I remember in other games policies it was more like warning, then 12 hour, then 24, then 48, then 72, then a week, then they start talking about perma bans. Everyone who legally plays this game signs a TOS stating they are 18 or older, seems a little ridiculous to have such harsh policies.

The TOS you agreed to was your warning, no other warnings are given for any violations. 72 hour is for first offense, it gets longer for each offense and can increase if the offense is deemed to be overly offensive.
The policies are in place so all players may enjoy a pleasant playing experience without have to endure “potty mouthed” players who are unable to control themselves out in public. All that can be said is if you do not want a suspension, do not swear in chat where others who may be offended will have to see it, and before you say it, no, the filter is not a license for you to swear.

First, you were not banned. You were suspended. And this came about because you use very offensive language many times. Language that even those who are “18 and older” find unacceptable, and which is disallowed by our policies.

Secondly, you may be thinking of another game, but we do not issue “warnings,” nor do we have 12-hour suspensions. Over the years, we have found such short-term suspensions to be of little to no value, so we instituted the 72-hour suspension as the first level.
