Friend's account terminated
They’ve said many many many times that suspensions and bans are not automatic and that each suspension or ban is reviewed by one or more humans before being applied to an account.
If 3 days go by without a response to the previously created ticket, your friend can add her ticket number to this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Tickets-for-Review-3-days-and-older-merged
if she wants her account status reviewed again.

It’s still confusing then as to how the determine who is botting and who isn’t. She was with two others before our buddy left for his morning classes. Guess she’s just wishing they would send her a message as to why she was terminated instead of just terminating her and letting her flop around like a fish out of water.
They aren’t going to reveal how they determine who is and is not botting, nor should they. If they revealed those details, people would use it to their advantage and bot and not get caught.
I understand that, but sending a simple message to let the account holder know they’ve been terminated might help instead of them finding out via logging in and sitting there without answers.
They’ve said many times that they do send out emails. It might have gone into your friend’s spam filter.
Hopefully your friend’s situation will get resolved soon.
Well, she got nothing, only got an email when she submitted a ticket. Thanks for giving out some answer. Hopefully they help her out and this doesn’t happen to too many other players just trying to help a friend farm mats.
All your friend can do is wait for support.
Not being disrespectfull nor heartless, but this forum section sees thread’s like these all the time. Anet won’t react to a friends plea. The main reason is that you as a friend might not know the full story and Anet does, but can’t tell you cause of privacy-rules.
So your friend needs to wait till support handles her ticket.
Some myths bout suspensions:
Anet suspends automaticly: Not true. All suspensions reviewed manually. There are detection systems in place that flags accounts as suspiccious, but suspension is done after manually reviewing the data. This doesn’t mean the GM can’t be wrong.
Anet doesn’t inform bout the reason for the suspension: Not true. You see the reason when you try to log in.
Anet doesn’t share proof of not allowed actions: True. But there is need for that either. Within the user agreement you signed you agreed with the fact that Arenanet can exclude you from their services whenever they want and without a valid reason. Sharing proof means giving people insight in the systems being used to track unwanted actions.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
She’s unable to post on the forums, but as submitted a ticket
Pretty sure the forums are unaffected by game suspensions, based on how many posts we see from suspended players pleading their cases.
In any case, support tickets from the account owner are the only way to go. The mods have repeatedly posted that testimonials carry no weight in their account actions.
